Prepareth thyself, for this be a new month unto Teh Stundies, and rather than comething up with a large intro speech i wrotest mineself, nay, I have stolen the previous month's rant and rules.

For those who don't know, Teh Stundies are a collection of funny, stupid, and downright bizarre things said by conspiracy theorists. The award is named after a poster at SLC forums who has been excluded from the award because, quite frankly, it just wouldn't be fair on the rest of the competitors...

The rules are:

1. Nominations should always be accompanied by a link or a screenshot, to confirm that the quote exists and has not been taken out of context. (It would be wise to always have a backup screenshot, as truth movement forums are well known for deleting entire threads.)
2. For a nomination to be eligible, it must have a real and obvious link to conspiracy theories, but not exclusively 9/11 conspiracy theories.
3. Stundie nominations should 'stand alone'. Do not over-embellish introductions, but do provide comments. Do not use any blatant ad hominem attacks.
4. Please post the nomination under the real screenname of the nominee, and not under a slightly altered name (e.g. Killclown, Roxpup, Do-over).
5. The best Stundie nominations are short and sweet. As a guideline, no more than 6 lines should be included from the post. If you are giving context, highlight the actual nomination.
6. Entire videos or audio clips are not eligible for nomination. Specific statements or claims from videos or audio clips are eligible for nomination.
7. No long rants. Cut them down to the funniest bit.
8. No speeling mistikes or tie-pose. Everybody makes a mistake once in a while!

Sometimes, you read a comment so ignorant that you weep for humanity after having read it. You want to believe it's some sort of troll, then you see the user is aptly named conspiracy_theorist, is quite serious about this garbage and you had a go with them a few months ago. In the comments section of a reddit submission (be advised, the title of the reddit submission features three violations of our rule 10) featuring video of a German plane trying to land in crosswinds, having nothing to do with 9/11... this.

But yeah, 19 hijackers, many of whom are still alive, that failed flight school managed to a> hijack a plane with paper clips and duct tape, b> bust into the pilot's cabin commando style, karate chop the pilots into unconsciousness, toss them out of the cabin, and commandeer the plane, c> immediately figure out their precise location so as to vertically and horizontally navigate the plane, d> become invisible to radar and military detection by flipping off their transponder, e> escaping detection for over an hour before f> ramming them into WTC--all on their first try.

You have to analyze the USGS dust analysis a bit more than just talk about uranium in granite and such like.

The major components of the dust werethe friables: the drywall and the spray-on fireproofing. Take those amounts away and the relative amounts of exotics--and of iron and copper as well--go off the charts for what is left.

USGS attributes the presence of iron and copper to structural components, pipes and wiring in their own analysis. But just how does a building collapse create such significant amounts of iron and copper dust?

Drop that copper pipe or wire or piece of steel ad infinitum from the height of the top of the WTC--heck, batter it with other pipes and I-beams on the way down all you want--and it is not going to turn to dust.

I think this part is a better nomination. Take away all the common materials and the uncommon stuff suddenly becomes the majority of what remains. Strange indeed.

Stundie has spotted an obvious flaw in the idea that light weight material could be blown down wind from the flight 93 crash site - because it didnt happen at the pentagon!

Some parts were found 3 miles away and I'm sorry but I do not believe that a plane impacting the ground at 500mph would send parts flying 3 miles away. Look at the Pentagon attack, was any wreckage ever found 3 miles away?

Counterfeit Money Sweeping Australia? professional and systematic!!

This is my first suggestion and it is a bit long as it deals with a CT that no one would have heard before about a topic that few know about here.

Lin Kuei has started a flap over at 911Oz. He has discovered a massive conspiracy to counterfeit Australian bank notes. Here is what he has to say.

... some of the bills I'm looking at right here look as though they are many years old, and yet are fake... so this is not some small time counterfeiting operation with crisp new notes - this must have been going on unnoticed for ages. The $50 notes look EXACTLY THE SAME as normal notes, even smell the same, unyet are missing the name of the person featured on the note underneath their picture.

In every other respect these notes look, smell and feel the same as the real deal, now why would someone make such a critical yet obvious mistake if everything else is perfect.

I think this is almost a perfect example of a CT.

1) The theory is bollocks. As wikipedia explains names were added to the portraits on our notes a few years ago so people knew who the portraits were. Banknotes issued before 2002 have no names and those issued after 2002 do have names. Banknotes include the date they were printed so this is easy to check. The Reserve Bank of Australia's website shows photos of the notes some with and some without the names. Wikiped

2) The theory has no evidence to support it. Who says that the ones without names are fake? Why not the ones with names?

3) The theory is rubbishly convoluted. Why go to all the trouble of faking bank notes (and ours are hard to fake as they are plastic) and yet allow them to be easily distinguishable.

4) The theory contains elements of crazy. Who would allege that the notes were counterfeited and then ask whether it was done on purpose? Does he think that they magically appeared from nowhere?

The one downside is that one of the truthers actually bothered to contact the RBA to find out if it is true or not.
