Mancow got waterboarded

Is it just me or is it a joke that he couldn't take it more than 4-5 seconds?
It was no joke. And clearly there is more to it than simply holding one's breath. Notice they poured the water on his throat and not just in his mouth. And anyone could hold their breath a minute or two. So what appears to be no big deal is much bigger than people realize.

You are aware that the average time for CIA agents who put themselves through it is 14 seconds?

Compare that with someone like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed who apparently lasted about 2.5 minutes.
Lasted? Like he had a choice? Do we even know for sure he had any information to give up? The reports say he didn't have any more information to give. Only Cheney claims he did. And there is the accusation one of the things Cheney wanted was some evidence tying Saddam to Al Qaeda which didn't exist.

That is not the way I have seen it done on other waterboarding episodes.
I can't believe Mancow is still around. He is one of the people that I truly hate.

Spread the virus.

I said it in the other thread. The only thing Stern fans and O&A fans agree on is that Mancow sucks.

Ron and Fez noon to three.

The amount of things he has confessed to is absurd, he was almost the whole jihad by himself.

What part of gag reflex do you not understand?

The part where the torture begins before the oxygen level in the blood starts going down.

Go ahead and try it, me, I'll take Mancow's word for it.

Hell, even Hitchens who drinks, smokes and looks in rather poor physical shape managed to last until the torture starts.

Well, you exhale to not get water in your nose(and most people can do that for a good 10-15 seconds). The torture starts when you're trying to gasp for air while simultaneously inhaling a bunch of water.

Logic says waterboarding should be no different than dunking one's head underwater. The evidence demonstrates it is much more than that.

That's essentially my point.

That KSM was able to to endure torture because he preferred to die rather than be tortured again?

I must have misunderstood the point you made that point earlier, which seemed to be that he was able endure torture because he wanted to martyred. He must be a slow learner.

What they need to do to really drive the point home is actually get these right wing nutters to confess to something. As in, we won't stop until you say:

"The Bible is nonsense"
"Evolution is true"
"Republicans invented AIDS to destroy the black community"
"Republican homophobia stems from their own closeted queerness"

And so on.

Because this is the real point, it's not that the waterboarding makes you reveal hidden knowledge, it's that you will confess to anything.

I keep thinking that the Central Scrutinizer ought to be involved, somecow. I mean, somehow.

And you believe it was faked because some blogger writes it?

According to this 'blogger', Mancow did it for publicity of which he got more publicity because Mancow reversed his original position and said waterboarding was torture.

Well the proof's in the pudding folks. Let's see any of the critics, any of those claiming waterboarding is no worse than having to hold your breath for a few minutes demonstrate on video, that claim.

Funny, there seems to be a shortage of such easily (according to the right wing denialists) accomplished video clips of such an easily proved claim.

Let's see it. Drudge. Let's see a video of someone being waterboarded that thinks it's no big deal.

Atleast Hitchens lasted sixteen seconds in a waterboarding session set up by the SERE. Mancow was just laying on a flat surface with a towel over his nose.
How about you. Where's your video of someone who thinks it's no big deal?

16 seconds? I can hold my breath about 2 minutes. Why would Hitchens only be able to last 16 seconds?
