I wish I could say this is beyond belief. There is just something deeply wrong with some people. And this person could sleep at night knowing he prosecuted, convicted and executed an innocent person based on the premise that he followed the rules. And this is a respected person in charged of promoting justice in our judicial system. There is something very wrong with this country if this kind of thinking is not merely accepted, but actually endorsed (which it must be, in as much as this guy is has the formal sanction to carry out justice) within our system.
