I think Americans have already crossed the line of insanity by allowing illegal immigrants to protest on their streets without taking up arms. Thankyou international socialists!

It is not that I agree about this post but to put it in context, this sort of reaction would be expected from the Mexican government if any legal migrant dare to protest in Mexico.
There is absolutely no room in Mexico for any foreigner to give an opinion about politics or economy, even less to protest against the government. During the conflict in Chiapas, many Italians that were supporting the guerrilla were deported immediatly!!!.

I just want highlight the double standards of the Mexican goverment. The way they treat illegal immigrants is deplorable, but still they demand from the US a fair treatment to their own people.

So can I infer from your post that you think that peacefull protesters should be shot on the grounds that they are "illegal"? Despite the fact that they are only there because there is a huge demand for their cheap labor?

Not necessarily, I was implying that the citizenry should become militant and demand action if their government is not taking care of the problem. They are ILLEGAL aliens, therefore should be arrested and deported. The cheap labor for business is no excuse to break the law, it's insanity!

Are you saying that the protesters were illegal aliens? Perhaps some were, but there were large number of legal aliens and naturalized citizens who protested as well.

Which Mexicans are the ones doing that? The ones who came here. Which Mexicans aren't doing that? The ones who didn't come here. Gee, it's almost like there's a difference in opinion between the two groups that take directly opposite actions.

I don´t doubt that there are millions of Mexicans who would like to become US citizens (they are already Americans because Mexico is in America ), but your opening post mentions that ALL Mexicans would be happy to become another US state. That is rubbish, there are 100 million people living in Mexico that are not interested in being part of a country that represents many things they dislike (social decomposition is one of them).

I once worked in Europe and one of my cow-orkers, a U.S. citizen, fervently believed that most Europeans secretly wanted to be Americans. She was wrong. Not everyone in the world wants to be an American. Not everyone in Mexico wants to be an American.
