An excellent piece on magicians tricks and the neuroscience behind them. Thought about posting this in the magic tricks forum but think it might be better suited here because it deals with the way the brain 'tricks' the mind into not seeing certain movements.

From Catalyst on ABC TV, if you haven't watched it I highly recommend following it either on TV or teh intrwebz, a brilliant science show that does a great job of boiling complex ideas down to layman's terms
