3PM might be late for lunch / early for dinner.... but including travel to and from food place, procurement and eating of food around a show that runs 3-4PM, that puts your meal of indeterminant type at 1 or 5 given pretty wide margins of error.

I believe that 1 and 5 would fall within standard acceptable meal periods defined respectively as lunch and dinner.

That was my thinking... add in that people adjusting for time zones and I think we'll end up close enough to lunch or dinner.

By the way, xinit are you still in if it's 3pm?
 
I might be up for the show yet, though I have dinner plans at the SP for 5.

As I recall... seating is on a first come, first serve basis and you get your seats assigned. You can't just walk in and sit where ever you'd like, but you do get better seats if you show up early. Unless we get over 15 people, which would qualify us as s 'group,' I don't think there's much point buying all the tickets at once, we may as well all get our own.

I'm in! Arriving late Tuesday, was looking for an adventure Wednesday, so this sounds like a good option.
 
I'm thinking my son and I might join this on Wednesday, but I keep not having time to research all the answers I need to fill in the table.

Well, the only two that are important are the "Lunch, Dinner or Neither?" column and the "<table> or <div>?" column.

The meal-related one should not require much research. It depends on which meals you are available for, and would like to join us for.

The HTML-related one you can probably read a few good books on design and layout for. After a couple of weeks of working through the examples, you will probably figure out, for yourself, which you prefer when it comes to page layout and arrangement and such.

Since I am more of a developer, than a web designer, I generally don't care about "proper layout techniques" as much. I just stick things into tables, to get them working, and I know exactly where they're gonna go. And, if a web designer wants to change them all to <div>s, then he or she is welcomed to do so.

All the other questions are just nonsense.

Really, I'm trying to find out if they make chocolate penguins so I know if I should choose that or pudding.
