This is what luke said happened:

"Luke Rudkowski said he's a freelance journalist from New York who was covering the protest when he got caught up in the confrontation.

"Police officers started hitting us with the baton sticks. They were literally coming screaming at us for no reason when we were just asking, 'Where can we leave? When can we go home?'" Rudkowski said.

Lee Iovino, who was working with Rudkowski, also spent the night behind bars.

"They pretty much took our stuff, tied us up. I was never read my rights. I was never even told what I was being arrested for," Iovino said."

Now here is a video of luke as the "freelance journalist" covering the protest:

At the 5.50 mark poor innocent luke gets rounded up by the police.

"Luke Rudkowski and Lee of We Are Change Chicago were specifically targeted and sent to state prison meanwhile the hundreds of protesters were released and not charged. They are facing charges of disordely conduct and failure to disperse, you will see soon the entire video of the arrest"

Luke targeted? no way! everyone knows journalists have bullhorns and stir up the police now and then, right? :D:D:D:D:D

Oh, and he certainly wasn't sent to state prison. Prison is for felons who have been convicted.

Why are they protesting the G-20 summitt?? I mean, really. A bunch of business bankers getting together to try to help with the economy not just here, but also worldwide?? Yeah, I can see why you would protest them....

With all this video evidence, can charges of inciting a civil disturbance not ensue?

What.a.jackass.

I live in a developing nation and you don't see WTO or free trade protests here. I think their point is supposed to be that financial institutions and their decision makers make decisions that do not reflect democratic choices. But someone like Rudkowski? Who knows why he's protesting? He opposes the alien shape shifters who really run the show?

Let's just hope he wasn't "specifically targeted" by any of his cellmates. That I wouldn't wish on anybody, even a truther.

But really; What a douche.

Luke sure does have a perty mouth.

:)

Journalists report the news....protesters try to make the news.
Learn the difference, Luke.

Uh, you don't go to state prison to spend a night before you bond out. But why expect "truthers" not to lie about that when they lie about everything else also?

I didn't know journalists usually worked with bullhorns.

Well, in the virtual sense, yes. Many of them actually see their profession as actually fulfilling that function, not merely allowing it. But in the literal sense, they're not supposed to. Not for an event they're supposedly covering. That would be a simultaneous conflict of commitment and interest.

Let's be honest: We all know that Luke's just indulging in excuse making in calling himself a "freelance journalist". It couldn't be any more obvious.

err..I thought you only go to prison AFTER you are convicted of a crime. After you are arrested you go to jail.

It was a prison (well, a jail more likely) and it was in a state therefore it's a state prison. Simple truther logic, and if you don't agree you must be a paid operative!
