Lovable Loon Jim Traficant To Run For Congress

The guy would be a joke except for his nasty habit of blaming The Jews for all of america's ills.
 
That the Rushblob calls him his favorite Democrat says a lot about the policies we can expect that pathetic little worm to espouise. There are too many of his kind around already. The best view of him is from the east as he walks west.

Disgraced former Congressman Jim Traficant was recently freed from federal prison after serving seven years of hard time for corruption and tax evasion. He surprised many people who haven't followed his case by claiming in subsequent interviews that he had been framed by the "Israel lobby".


Now, according to a column he has published on the neo-fascist, Holocaust denial website American Free Press, Traficant is planning to travel to Germany to testify on behalf of John Demjanjuk. Demjanjuk has been indicted for war crimes committed while allegedly serving as a guard at the Sobibor concentration camp during World War II; the trial is set for later this month. WARREN -- Former U.S. Rep. James A. Traficant filed his nominating petitions about 9 a.m. Monday at the Trumbull County Board of Elections to run as an independent candidate for Ohio's 17th U.S. Congressional District in the fall.

After leaving Trumbull's elections board, Traficant was heading to Columbiana County, where he indicated he would be filing in Ohio's 6th U.S. Congressional District.

A message was left with Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner's Office on whether Traficant can run in two districts simultaneously.

OK, I figured this out.

He is running in the 17th district, but his hair is running in the 6th district.
