According to you, wine drinkers are not alcoholics because the consumption of wine kills off so many of those who drink it, that the wine drinking populations' gene pool now contains only those individuals who have a special immunity to the fatal effects of that fluid.

That sort of beverage is not attractive to me. You should therefore drink beer, and then you would continue to exist, and pass on all manner of genetic material to the next generation. In this way great numbers of alcoholics at least manage to remain alive, even if they may be disadvantaged in other respects.
