"Loose Change"? What does that even mean?

I've heard four different explanations from the boys themselves, but can only recall three offhand.
1) Because it was made with so little money.
2) Because they were sitting around drinking and it just sounded right.
3) Because there are all these "loose facts" running around out there to be corralled.

The first makes some sense, but I haven't heard them give that reason in months. I wish Louder Than Words would publish a FAQ like NIST did.

I read somewhere a quote from Avery where he states that he started developing the fictional Loose Change in 2002. Has anyone ever asked him if he thought using 9/11 for entertainment in 2002 was a really good idea? What kind of person would happily do a thing like that?

Same kind of person that keeps joyfully ranting about aledged passengers, mocking victims and accuses Larry Silverstein et al of mass murder. Aka a [rule 8]ing [rule 8]hole.

man, that jury was stupid, theres 2 things wrong with that sentence

1: endor is not a planet, its a moon

2: chewbacca lives with han solo (on coruscant after the fall of the empire) ebcause he owes a life debt to him

:P

There isn't anything living on Endor becasue some nitwit detonated the hypermatter reactor core of a 100 mile wide battlestation in low orbit over the planet resulting in an extinction level event due to debris impacts and environmental contamination by radiation and toxic substances.

This, of course, was left out of the neo-rep (aka "New Republic") propaganda film "Return of The Jedi".

Ding.. Ding...Ding! We have a winner! All of the above.
Though, I do believe it was numero uno!
For me ,... I think of their heads as piggy banks ! Lots of loose crap that if you shake it falls out, and is worth very little. Viola "LC".

So, penniless drunken teenagers who came up with an image only they would understand? Why am I not surprised....

Luckily, the poor pathetic ewoks have their own version of Petty Cash.

Nah, it would be to much effort to rewrite the FAQ every time they were forced to backpedal and make up new BS to support whatever story they are telling this week.

And it would go against their principle of them asking questions.

To me, it means they're a handful of coins short of the full dollar.

But again, Gravy is the authority on the subject of 'Loose Change'.
