Loose Change is being shown at The Electric cinema in Birmingham, followed by a question and answer session, on Saturday 8th March.

Unfortunately I won't be able to get to Birmingham that weekend. Could anyone else go?

I hope this was the correct place to post. I don't venture into this section very often so have no idea whether UK folks spend much time here. If they don't could someone move this some where more appropriate? Thanks.

If Dylan really wants to make money on this, he should just blame 9/11 on DA JOOOOS and market Loose Change in the Middle East.
 
I know the owner of that cinema. This surprises me.

I will get some inside gossip if I can. However, bear in mind it's a tiny arthouse cinema that no-one goes to, so they ain't going to set the city alight with this one. In fact, it may well be a desperate attempt to get some trade.

It's probably a 'four-wall' situation where the cinema owner rented the hall to the truthers for the showing. A couple in Pennsylvania did the same thing recently.

Finding the fastest way out of there would be my preferred activity ;)

Anyway - yes, likely this'll be a private rental. Quite a few arthouse places will do it; you pay some cash - £100 or thereabouts, and they'll get the film in for you, and put it on at a time you like (normally matinee). You can either pay more and get the cinema to yourself, or less and you get (say) 20 tickets for your mates, and the public can come in as well. The Broadway in Nottingham does it, and I'm fairly sure the Watershed in Bristol does too.

It's just a way of making a bit of extra cash; doesn't necessarily mean that they actually go along with the beliefs.

I'd be interested to know how many people actually show up for it. Certainly in my experience most people in the UK don't really have any interest in it. There's one - I presume - CT loon round where I used to live in Bristol who sprayed PrisonPlanet graffiti all over the place. Given the interest that most people have in US politics, however, I can't imagine many people doing much more than entering the URL, seeing the content is US-centric, and just closing the page straight down again.

Hes one of THE CT loons, seem to recall hes one of the chief advocates of the 'planes that hit the WTC were really missiles shrouded in holograms' theory.

Bollocks, he's a failed filing clerk who betrayed his nation, lied about it to its enemies and slandered those who are prepared to keep their word, all to make a buck and fuel his own ego.

He pretends that his junior work with the Security Service gives him insight into all aspects of UK intelligence, including (even especially!) those aspects which SiS would be responsible for, he's a proven liar and a fraud.
On top of that his support for harassment and slander of victims of terrorism show him for the evil bastard that he is.

He is a national hero. Admittedly he seems to have gone somewhat mental and believes he is god. But apart from that he has only ever looked after the interests of Great Britain.

Yeah he did himself a real favour by breakin the official secrets act and ending up in jail.

He quite rightly exposed the fact that British secret services were planning an illegal assassination of Gadafi, and that the Isreali embassy bombing was allowed to happen by MI5.

What a brave patriot he was.
