Loose Change 9-11: An American Coup

It will be interesting to see how "Wooish" it is. I mean "Final Cut" was Glorified "MIHOP" and it was DOA. Maybe he will go completely nuts and bring out the "no-planer" and "CIT" stuff.

TAM:)

At least four, and arguably five:

1. Loose Change
2. Loose Change II
3. Loose Change II Second Edition
4. Loose Change Final Cut

There's also a remastered sound version of Final Cut where they made some minor changes (like getting rid of the credit that said the film was "Writen by Dylan Avery").

There we go. And after farce, just fill in the blank of what's next. The third time as lunacy, the fourth as idiocy, the fifth as just plain pathetic? Heck, take that in any order you want, or add your own term.

A travesty?

A travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham?

And so, despite being "halfway" through a manuscript for a feature film, Dylan dropped everything to do yet another Loose Change movie.

For it's comedic value, that's my favorite part.

No one working on a film that has money or bona fide interest behind it would suddenly drop it for another project. After proclaiming himself done with 9/11, and moving to San Diego to break into the film industry (Which is laughable in of itself. Moving to San diego to work in the film industry is kind of like moving to Atlantic City to work on Broadway.) he obviously has face-planted into a steaming pile of failure, and is now slinking back to the only thing that has provided him a modicum of income and notoriety.

ETA:From The Official Loose Change Blog, March 20, 2008:
Dylan Avery said:
And I'm writing and directing my first feature film this year, thanks to interest and support from a major company that shall remain nameless at this point.

I guess by "shall remain nameless" he meant "doesn't actually exist", since there's no mention on his IMDb page of this "major" project that was supposed to have happened last year.

Oh, and Dylan? If you're really only half-way through your script after all this time, you don't have what it takes. Anyone who can't knock out a feature script inside of a year isn't going to make it as a screenwriter.

Hey got to remember that they were "trying for Sundance" with Loose Change: Final Cut. I think Dylan has some delusions, and it is funny that the major studio has to "remain nameless". There are only so many major studios and if they actually had given backing I would imagine a project would be listed. I suppose it is just my bias of never coming across a studio backing a first time film maker to write and direct their own movie, without first seeing something on paper.

So if we was actually working on anything being funded, he would not just drop everything to make ...And This Time I Mean It!: Loose Change part IV

Just file it next to Final Cut being voiced by Charlie Sheen and getting a $20 million marketing budget.

This film will spell curtains for the 9/11 debunker movement.

Oh I agree. Those tacky curtains are soooo 2008. And while we're at it, can we do something about the paint in this place? So dreary! Splash around some color! And don't even get me started on the bathroom!
