Have you had wheels fitted to those goalposts, or are you going to cite some sort of quantum mechanics-like idea that means they can be in more than one place at a time?

Well, nobody seems to have told flaccon that she wasn't supposed to be asking the spirits questions:

Testing these spirits is something I prefer the experts to do, but I am testing them.

If you're claiming flaccon continuously inhaled for 3 straight minutes without exhaling, I'd have to say you are one gullible guy.
 
Nothing new: ad homs, strawmen, special pleading, goalpost shifting. Ghosts still proven to be nonexistent. Flaccon and scrappy still acting out a bizarre charade and making laughing stocks of themselves. Flaccon isn't going to be tested - she knows ghosts are not real but is too afraid to admit it.

Apparently they're actively harmful, since they caused a 3 minute (!!!) inhalation, an icky rash, and a bacterial infection. The results of the premise "if it isn't paredolia, it must be spirits" is that the spirits must therefore have created Tracy's illness. This of course is in direct contradiction of Scrappy's report that tracy is healthier and happier than she's ever been in her life. Confused now? I sure am.

I would answer that the majority of these people, including you, are sharing the same delusion. Tracy tells them ahead of time what they're supposed to hear, and then all of them, including you, hear what she told them they should expect to hear---that's the unique psychological process of paredolia. The group's insistence that it must be spirits when they're presented with far more rational and likely explanations for the phenomena is what makes it a shared delusion rather than just simple paredolia.

The GP, the Rev, and the Pastor are most likely just humoring Tracy and trying to get her out of their offices as quickly as possible before she creates a disturbance or a spectacle of herself. They're probably not delusional, but rather avoidant of the big bundle of cray-cray that Tracy keeps trying to shove onto their desks.

No one can estimate time that accurately (especially when they're shocked), plus, she was very probably already ill, thus the need for antibiotics.

And pareidolia definitely explains the "altering" of your silent file, and the "voice on your laptop". You expected these to happen; you want them to be happening.

Added to earlier concerns about flaccon's health issues (distress at hearing voices on the phone) I now add the purchase of another laptop (at least the 2nd replacement mentioned in this thread) - determined as a necessity due to the 'changing of files' on the one she already has. This is not good.

I must agree. It's very frustrating to hear that flaccon may be about to throw hundreds of pounds at a problem which has not been shown to exist.

I'm not so certain. With the combined knowledge of technology she and her coterie have exhibited thus far, I can see how they'd think a logical solution to internet connectivity would be a new laptop.

'Cuz... frankly, I can't see any reason to want to buy a new laptop to get rid of the spirits if the spirits only "want to help" and are going to change the world, all via your little fingertips. Or are we back to bad spirits who cause staph infections and break up happy marriages and incapacitate one physically for two years? I'm old and I get confused easily and I thought I had a handle on all the bad spirts (Judas? He's bad, right? With a name like that, I think he'd have to be.) and good spirits, but then there's Reg wanting us to shoot rockets out of cats' arses and giving Tracey a sore throat and all and I'm at the point I'm going to need a Venn Diagram just to figure out the players and their positions on the team.

And I experienced same just a few days ago, where time seems to lengthen like a cheap zoom lens effect.

And also explains why scrappy cannot get any effect at all on the silence file that caleb created, and that I sent to scrappy. According to scrappy, there must be noise present, and that is a simple statement that it is all pareidolia straight out of the box.
