Really? Why do they care? They don't occupy this world-they are spirits. World events don't affect them in the slightest. They will continue to be spirits regardless.

If the world blows up there will be a massive influx of new spirits. There will be overcrowding in the spirit realm, so yes, the well being of the world does affect them. :boxedin:

There are boundaries to the spirit world? Then how do all the current spirits of everyone who has ever died fit, huh? Answer me that. I wanna know.

I'm starting to wonder if the spirits are posting for themselves now, or rather, if that is going to be the next claim. Since they can manipulate computers by themselves, it makes a cray-cray sort of logic.

Not only that, but flaccon has told us that even the spirits of people who are alive can be out there floating around. So I'm guessing space is not a problem. :D

It is extremely confusing for us all Pixel42. I honestly have no idea what scrappy is going on about :boggled:

Flaccon makes recordings by covering her webcam and using it's mic to record the background noise - which is a totally daft way of doing it seeing that audio recording software like Audacity and a dedicated mic would be better.

ETA: Why does the Forum system remove other quotes from replies?

This is something I would like fixed. Don't know why it's set up to remove nested quotes. You can get around it like I have with this post though.

If you use the "Quote this post in a PM" button (the envelope next to the "Report post" button) you get nested quotes. Copy the text in the message box and paste it into the reply message box and you have nested quotes.

Yes, it's a pain, but it does work if you want to include nested quotes.

Really? I wonder how that works. If your spirit is out there floating around, then what happens to your now essence-less physical body here? Does it just lay somewhere inert until the spirit comes back? Do we have divided/dual spirits that can be both places at once? Is flaccon making all this up as she goes along?

So many questions, so few answers.

Wandering around in a daze sans essence sounds to me like a typical Monday morning without coffee.
 
How long do we wait for the bishop to log in? and will his English be any better than the other visiting personalities in this disordered thread?

I'm expecting the Bishop to show up at any moment, followed by the GP, Tracey's living relatives in rapid succession, Tracey's dead relatives and finally, Leonardo Da Vinci.

I assume you meant the file named VolumeUpInt.wav. At the 21 second mark and following, the playback as the same background noise sound as always. No silence. On and around the 38 seconds mark there is nothing that sounds like "Robin" nor any other words for that matter, just background noise.
 
Scrappy, I'm about to visit you as a disembodied (but still living) spirit and say the words "Leonardo loved bacon" repeatedly in the background of the file you're about to play on your calibrated hands-on machine .
 
Maurice . I played it over the phone to tracy so we both know what it sounds like before she runs it through her own laptop .

Dblue54 / Mr Bulger, I too saw wot happened to Tracey when she pressed her face to the speakers and inserted her fingers into the audio-sockets after calibrating her hands-on machine. I was the disembodied spirit whose voice speaks to you on your laptop, but like Tracey's brother I am still alive ! i bin a spirt; for very looooong time . When tracey went up a mountain because she has 2 weeks to get in shape (,)I was the spirit who bin burdening her because she is not yet ready yet to share our Very Important Message with the world . We are sensitive with delicate feelings and an overpowering compulsion to type spaces before but not necessarily after punctuation marks.thank you; Vortigern99
