Looking for Skeptics - Continuation (Cassidy's EVP/diamond damage claim)

Modesty forbids me telling you. But until all can be revealed, can I borrow a $20 from you?

My guess is that it's something on the lines of "be excellent to each other", but Cassidy knows how inane it sounds when attributed to super-intelligent ETs.

And no, you can't borrow $20.

Sadly it isn't just Cassidy who's affected by her evil-spirits-or-possibly-aliens obsession. She's told us several times that one of her daughters, and more recently a granddaughter, have been targeted by these entities. Again, we only have Cassidy's side of the story but it's depressing to think that three generations of a family have been affected by this nonsense.

Yeah, I hesitated to bring that up. I'm following a murder case where the accused claims he believed the murdered toddler was possessed by demons. Originally I thought it was just a ploy for an insanity defense but as more information is released it's starting to look like he really did believe it.

I don't think Cassidy is in any way like that man since her solution seems to be to entreat the "good" spirits to protect her kids and grandkids from the evil spirits so it's probably benign. Still, it's got to be distressing to her family to claim such things in the first place if that's what she's actually doing.

I've just read those Connie Sonne threads, and there are indeed some striking similarities between her and Cassidy.

They both heard mysterious voices on tape - Sonne made a recording outside a farmhouse in Portugal, slowed it down when she played it back and claimed to hear a conversation between the missing English girl Madeleine McCann and her abductor. If I've understood her ESL posts correctly she also heard her own voice, just as Cassidy did.

They were both convinced of their abilities by worthless self-administered 'tests', and reacted with libellous accusations of fraud when they failed to convince others.

They both claimed to have paradigm-shattering information that could only be revealed when the time was right, even though in Sonne's case this included Madeleine McCann's location in South America.

They both claimed to be in contact with aliens and believed in various conspiracy theories based on the premise that governments are evil and controlled by mysterious agencies:

I tried to read the website linked to above.
Why is it that these advanced alien life forms never pass on the secrets of how to design a woo-site that doesn't cause eyes to bleed?

The story is as riddled with errors and lies as Tracey's.
You don't need a pipe and a deerstalker hat to see them.

When one uses Ocham's sandpaper, rather than the razor, one gets rough, interpretive edges.

Yeah. It turns out it was all true, Cassidy won the million and we are all going to have a party next week.

It was last night which you would have known if you listened to the message in the updated Rock and Roll Heaven commercial.

I'm a bit surprised that she hasn't been back to post some twaddle about the supermoon eclipse.
