Looking for photos

Transcript or report I am after is of the NYPD copter crew stating that the tower(north I believe , but they may have commented on both) was an 'inferno' or 'oven' or 'hell', or maybe 'red hot' in the interior.

I haven't been able to find it among my links and such, jaydee. It is referred to in the book "102 Minutes" but I can't seem to find the transcript.

Tim Hayes said:
10:07 a.m. "Advise everybody to evacuate the area in the vicinity of Battery Park City. About fifteen floors down from the top, it looks like it's glowing red. It's inevitable."

Greg Semendinger said:
~ 10:07 a.m. "I don't think this has too much longer to go. I would evacuate all the people within the area of that second building."

Maybe a search will be more fruitful, at least, now that you have the names of the NYPD personnel who gave the warnings. I'll keep looking as well.

Edit to add: At 10:20 a.m., Aviation 14 also reported that WTC1 was leaning.

Edit to add: These are also cited in McKinsey & Company, New York Police Department, Improving NYPD Emergency Preparedness and Response, August 2002.

NIST reported on these, of course, but I still haven't found a direct link to the actual transcripts themselves.

Here are a couple of sources that describe these transmissions as well as warnings about the inward bowing of the walls, reporting on the findings of those McKinsey & Co, and NIST, I believe, as well as the Firehouse.com reproduction of excerpts from Jim Dwyer etal of the NY Times. I realize these aren't the original source that you're looking for, but thought they might be of assistance anyway.

Geez, it's so hard to see those photos of those poor folks again...

Damn... :(

Here's one that shows the scale better - I'm not sure if it's the one Bell is referring to or not, though.

This is probably one of the most depressing pictures of that day. You can see how utterly hopeless that woman's situation is. She may have been hopeful that the fire could be put out and that she could be saved in time, and I sure hope she was, for her sake.

It also reminds me of something that one of the global moderators at the old Loose Change forum said about the picture:

"BUT LOOK AT HER OUTFIT, 100% ASBESTOS CHINOS WITH A LOVELY MATCHING FLAME RETARDANT CABLE KNIT V NECK SWEATER. THAT OUTFIT IS HOT, HOT, HOT!"

That quote right there is one of the main reasons why I spend so much time fighting the "truth" movement. They really have no respect for these people AT ALL.

Yes, I have always felt the same way about that photo and the others with people at the windows, knowing that every one of them died that day, and that some chose to jump to their deaths rather than burn to death. I find it so horribly sad, and just thinking about what they must have been going through.

The self-proclaimed "truth" seekers exhibit no human tendencies in this regard whatsoever. They do not even seem to comprehend that every one of the people in those particular photographs died that day, and it's as though they do not even comprehend that they were real people, with real loved ones, with real families, with real friends.

They mock, laugh, and poke fun at victims such as these ones and those on the airplanes; they say the most vile and disparaging things about the victims and their loved ones, all in pursuit of their own twisted fantasies.

This is a large part of why I spend so much time doing my bit to help ensure that the troofers' nonsense does not go unchallenged, too. The utter disregard that these people have for the victims is truly sickening.

Edit to add: If you happen to have a screen shot of that quote on the old Loose Change forum, can you please PM it to me or PM me for an email address to send it to? (Just thinking ahead.)

Just wanted to add that my feelings are similar to Zep, Pardalis and others. It is really hard to look at these photos and not tear up. It will be a long, long time before the pain subsides.

Do you agree that this type of emotion is a reason
to buy into the conspiracy theories - unprocessed
emotions combined with the disbelieve that this could
be happen in America? (In some cases plus distrust)

Amen to that.

Sometimes discussing 9/11 seems like an interesting intellectual pursuit.
Sometimes there's room for a bit of fun with the banter.
Always it comes back to the utter nightmare of what actually happened.

Yep same here.... I got nothing but a tear

If I remember right, that "asbestos chinos" post was the last straw that convinced Gravy to start writing his original Loose Change Viewer's Guide back in April or so. And the rest is anti-CT history.

EDIT: Yep, that was what cinched it for Gravy back on April 13, when he proclaimed he'd start going to GZ with his friends to take them on face to face.

And the original Loose Change forum post is still there:

This crap from the CT whack jobs really angers me - when see picture of all
those people hanging out windows in the towers think of my neighbor across
the hall who lost 2 of her sons who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald. Wonder if
it was her sons in that picture?

Thanks, tacodaemon and maccy.

You know, I didn't even do a search for that vile post because I thought that there were some things that are so contemptible that even the LC boyz would have recognized it as such and would have removed it from their forum. *Sigh*

Evidently, the only thing they consider vile is disagreement with them.

This is one of the most favorite pictures of the CTists because they think the steel cut in an angle proves that thermite was used to bring down the towers:

It would be nice to have some of this wonder thermite that can cut a thick steal beam so neatly and smoothly. Otherwise people will have to rely on rude manual methods like this:

I actually have a zip file about 70 mb on a backup dvd at home.
It has heaps of little clips of the attack taken on the day.

The last time I went through my backups to move them elsewhere I came across it amongst heaps of funny and crazy film clips I got at various surfing times on the net. At this point me and my misses were laughing and schocked at many a thing. We then watched about an hour of 9/11 footage with few words said. Its so surreal. You feel both horrified and in complete dibelief. It truly is impossible to understand the scope of it from watching on a computer screen. Even watching it years later, its just beyond comprehension. It was and will be a historic moment for years to come for all the wron

Agreed, it is beyond comprehension - still.

And as for those CTers who say their are no Islamic terrorists, no al-Qaeda, I'm sure most of them don't live in places where terrorists have murdered their neighbors or co-workers. They haven't seen their local newspapers filled with pages and pages of obituaries for over a year. They haven't gone to a funeral where the casket contains no body. They haven't been afraid when an airplane above makes a weird sound. They haven't walked around their own cities seeing soldiers with machine guns everywhere.
