Looking for humanist/athiest/skeptic events in 2015

Hi Everyone!

I hope this is the right forum to post this in.

I'm looking to find out about any humanist, athiest, or skeptic relevant/related events that are happening on the weekends of April 10 (to the 12th) or April 17th (to the 19th) anywhere in the world (but preferably in the United States) in 2015 (next year).

Sorry for such a broad request but I figured crowd sourcing this task would be the most efficient method and I'm horrifically lazy.

Very few events of this type announce their dates more than a year in advance. The only two events I know of that have already announced 2015 dates at this time are:

16th European Skeptics Congress - September 10-13, 2015 in London
38th Freedom From Religion Foundation Convention - October 9-10, 2015 in Madison, Wisc.

And neither of those are on your target weekends. It's more typical for our events to announce dates about three to nine months in advance, so you'll have better luck starting in July of this year.

But to help you know where to look...

I help maintain an online database of skeptic/secular/humanist/atheist events over at the site Lanyrd.com. You can see my list of skeptic events here:

I also have a wider list of just names and dates of events that covers all four categories that is in this forum thread (in the events section) as well as here on the Skepticamp wiki.

Looking at those lists, there are several annual events that might be on those weekends in 2015. They include:

• NECSS (New York City, NY)
• QED (Manchester, England)
• Skep Tech (Minneapolis, MN)
• Freethought Festival (Madison, WI)
• Northwest Arkansas LogiCon
• ReasonFest (Lawrence, KS)
• Skepticamp (Chicago, UK, elsewhere)

Skepticamps in particular tend to move their dates around year to year, and announce much closer to the date, so you'll have to monitor those closely. Manchester, Chicago, Cape Ann, Winona, Denver and Sydney have had camps in April in the past.

Here's an update of the known 2015 event dates I've found. SkepKon is going to be held in Frankfurt, Germany in May 2015, but I don't know the dates yet.
