London Terrorist Attacks

I am sure you have all heard the terrible news today, about the London terrorist attacks and the trail of destruction it has left behind. My thoughts go out to the victims and their families.

It just struck me though through all of this, did any medium or psychic actually predict this awful event?

If anyone, apart from the scumbags who planted the bombs, had predicted it, then it would have been avoided, and then it couldn't have been predicted and...

It's the old time travel logical paradox again that rules out 'psychic predictions' or anything of that nature. 'Psychics' have never helped anyone - other than their own egos and their bank balances...

I'm sure someone said, "There will be a terrorist attack this year in a major city" and will claim a hit.

Maybe those who say they knew about it should be rounded up and shipped to Gitmo for suspicion of collaborating with terrorists. There would certainly be more evidence than there is for many of the "detainees" there.
 
It occurred to me that my previous post may be seen as making light of the tragedy in London. That certainly wasn't my intent. My heart goes out to the people of that city. The carnage must be horrific.

If the terrorists had studied their history, though, they would have learned that Londoners are not easily disuaded by carnage. The city has also learned, the hard way, how to bounce back from catastrophes like this.
 
Jean Chretian may have predicted this, it could be why Canada did not go to Iraq.

Don't know of anyone knowing the eaxact date. No one on this forum did.
 
The Psychic paradox! Interesting take on it.
What should be done at some point after an attack such as this is contact every big name psychic(Gellar,Edwards,Acorah...even the crap ones like Mia Dolan,and Hamilton Parkers)and grill them as to why they didnt predict this and why they have never actually proved any powers of any description!
A quick Google of "Psychics and London bomb/Terrorist attack" produces zilch.Unsuprisingly. :(
 
Last week there was a shark attack on a girl in the US. I remember thinking of a Michael Moore movie that was mocking the media paranoia and it showed a "year of the shark headline", and showing that shark attacks were some of the biggest headlines in summer 2001. Last week I was thinking things had really gotten boring and shark attacks were all there were.

My heart goes out to the Iraqi people that have been violated by the US/British Coalition forces for the past year....actually past decade.

The only point these events prove is that the world is a terrible, cold, and hurtful place and that we need to love the people around us while we still have time. My heart goes out to you, Ashles. I remember how we felt in the states a few years ago. The rage and confusion and heartache... if I could do anything or say anything I thought would help I'd do it in a heartbeat. I respect you a lot. Your posts have always entertained me and made me think half a world away.

Don't let the vultures get to you.

Ah, I was meaning to start a thread on this topic myself, it doesn't seem quite right in the original "oh blimey what's going on" thread.

"Nikki - Psychic to the Stars" predicted a terrorist attack on London for 2003 and 2004, but seems to have forgotten to do it this year.

Here we have a 2006 prediction which I don't think can possibly be interpreted as in any way to do with today - something to look forward to though

There's a load of predictions on this site regarding London, all of them way off and fairly old, but you could probably glue bits of them together as has happened before to make a vague shoehorning fit to today - London ... black cloud ... trains ... blah ...

Astrology.

As has been demonstrated very admirably on this board, many people have been effected and tens of thousands, nay millions, have been contacting friends and family to see if they are OK.

This morning, I received a lovely, kind and concerned e-mail from an American lady who I only new a little and have had no contact with for over a year.

I wonder how many horoscopes predicted that so many would have a day so different from most days.

In addition, one vague hit on one particular star sign is not good enough. Each and every star sign for the 7th should have something among the usual drivel.

They don't.

What a surprise.

I'm curious if horoscopes for the 8th have been 'adjusted' to pick up on the concerned aftermath.
 
Good thought H3LL, I didn't think of looking.

My local paper prints Russell Grant's tripe.

Not a whisper of it on the 6th; not even, so far as I could see, a "you will receive distressing news" or "you will be affected by world events".

I seem to have lost the paper from the 7th, but I imagine there will be little difference.

But on the 8th - no mention. Not a one. Could this possibly be because Grant has written them all in advance, so he can go on holiday?

I have not found one yet and I doubt if I will.
Unless some of these so called psychics already had inside information about the ****holes that did it. How easy would it be for a self professed psychic to take advantage of these torrorist plans as an golden opportunity to give credence to their paranormal abilities by just simply posting some of the details of the plans on a psychic forum and spread their prediced news to their fellow psychics by emails instead of informing the police.

Choir news

Posting this stuff in here is like preaching to the choir. The people who need to hear it (and who probably won't) are those people the psychics are taking advantage of every day.

What can be done to show ordinary people that psychics can NOT forsee the future or talk with spirits of the deceased? That's something good that come out of this terrible tragedy, and all the brain-power in this forum should be concentrating on ways to focus public attention on it.
