Well, as everyone else is going for it, I thought I might stick my oar in too.

The third Tuesday seems very popular for Skeptics in the Pub for some strange reason. Maybe Rupert Sheldrake's correct about morphic resonance after all?

The Award Winning London Skeptics in the Pub will be having its 99th meeting on the 18th March.
Starring:
Andy Lewis: the creator and writer of The Quackometer blog.
Prof. David Colquhoun: pharmacologist at University College London who writes the Improbable Science blog at DC Science.net

Other details can be found at the Skeptics in the Pub website; link in my signature...

Hope to see a few of you there.

I really really really want to be there but dammit it it's just before we're in London for the whole weekend and I can't justify coming down twice. £40 on the train, you know.

Sniff.

Don't worry too much about not making it down for this one. We have a few tricks up our sleeve for folks who have missed past talks.

All will be revealed (just to you first though).

I'll see you when you're in London for the weekend.

:D

What an odd coincidence, I'm hanging around Hyde Park on Tuesday (have to show my face at the US Embassy)... If I manage to get things sorted out sharpish, I'll certainly pop over and say hello; it's only 5 tube-stops away.

:D
