Lindsay Lohan: Wanted Fugitive

And Lohan's luck finally ran out. 90 Days in the Slammer. And this time no 24 Hours then out. You get that for a first offense, not for a repeat.
And she has to spend 90 Days in a Rehab program after she has served her Jail Sentence.

i might be being a small bit pedantic here but that cnn link post by the post above (sorry due to dyslexia your name is not easy for me to spell) says lohan is facing 90 days in jail not that she has been sent to jail (yet) dudalb you have not quite interpreted the situation correctly . the same news has been on yahoo uk and ireland too .

i hope she gets treated the same as anyone missing 9 alcohol councelling classes would do .
 
She has to report to start serving her sentence on July 20th.
I never said she was going straigh to jail.
And after completing her sentence, she had 90 Days of Court Mandated Rehab.
So even if she gets her jail time halved, that is four months she is going to be on ice.
And the filming of that Linda Lovelace biofilm was supposed to start in early September.
Now the producers are finding out why no studio will hire Lohan for a major project. Too damn risky for someone who is box office poison. Now the producers are faced with either a very expensive delay in production or firing Lohan and hiring somebody else or cancelling the film altogether. Serves them right for being dumb enough to hire Lohan with her record.
 
With the jail overcrowding issue, she will likely never do 90 days. Maybe 1/3 of that, if that. All those tears for that. What a joke.

Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore just explained ... generally, a female inmate in Lindsay's situation only serves 25% of their sentence ... which means LiLo will most likely spend around 23 days behind bars.
 
As long as she is treated like anybody else.
Besides, the 90 Days Rehab is going to keep her off the streets for a while. The producers of the Lovelace film are in deep dodo,with filming starting in early September.

This aspect of law in the US always seems odd to me...over here, you get sentenced to jail time, you get taken straight from the court to stir. It seems very wierd to be let loose again and to report to the prison at a set date. Just seems like an opportunity to head for the mexican border.

Laws vary widely by state. But generally, if they think you are a flight risk, you will go straight to jail. Linsday Lohan is a stupid crack head whore, but I don't think she is stupid enough to flee to Mexico over this sentence.

And aren't our systems more than a little messed up if you get 90 days from a judge, but only serve 3 weeks on average? :boggled:

Also, 25% of time served for females, do men get longer?

Overcrowded prisons. What are you gonna do? Release the potheads instead? :eek: Build more prisons and hire more prison guards when the states are already broke?
 
Her life, career, whatever mean absolutely **** to me. I have ZERO reason to dislike her as I've never sat through her "work," or appreciated anything but her amazing rack. Yet, I have this uncanny need to see her fail. If I woke up tomorrow to see she drowned in a septic tank, I'd probably die like a 2 year old in a tickle fit. In all honesty I thumbed through some pictures of her crying ... and felt like a better person for it.

Maybe I'm upset about the rack. She's 24 and looks pretty good for a 45 year old. I opened that link on CNN, saw the picture, and got blasted in the face with menthols.

I mean, I wan to see her fail and have to try break the world record gangbang (available in three DVD pack) to pay for a portion of her legal costs. But that's just because I like porn.

Is it because people like to see irresponsible behavior punished? We have to act all grown up all the time to avoid our lives spinning out of control.
Is it jealousy?

It seems to me we always have to have some celebrity that we must see self-destruct in slow motion. Part of the media narrative, I guess.

For me it is less hatred and more a matter of zero sympathy. OK, zero sympathy and a little disdain, but not hatred. Here is the source.

Lindsay has had trouble with alcohol addiction and I cannot blame her for that. But let's look at the timeline

Jan 2007. rehab
May 2007. drunk driving arrest
May 2007. second rehab
July 2007. Less than two weeks after leaving a rehabilitation facility, Lohan is arrested on five counts, including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and possession of narcotics.

Some websites estimate her net worth in 2007 to have been $7 million. If you are a multi millionaire with a license suspended because of a drunk driving charge, the HIRE A DAMNED CHAUFFEUR! Also, hire someone to hold your drugs while you party. It's not rocket science.

As I said about my contempt for Bill Clinton: it's not the lying, it's not the cheating, it's the stupidity. Stupidity that includes, in LL's case, showing up late and missing court hearings related to her three-year probation. She got two felony DUIs and a drug possession charge plea bargained into 7 misdemeanor charges that included only one day of jail time and three years probation. I can understand the overwhelming desire to drink during that time, but there is no excuse for missing court dates - that's just plain stupid.


I apologize for my on-topic rant. I promised myself I wouldn't be involved in any re-railing of threads (especially this one), but I cannot help myself.

By the way, Lohan was arrested for probation violation. Some party goer saw her with an alcoholic drink in hand...:eek: so she got 90 days in jail, and it's got the Internet on positive FIRE.:rolleyes:
