Anyway, I'm not sure transgendered males really claim to be women. My understanding is they identify as being transgender.
I wouldn't be surprised if that depended on who you asked.
It will very much depend on who you ask. Interestingly, younger transgendered individuals are more likely to reject a binary sexual identity, and see their identity as somewhere on a spectrum. I'm willing to bet that even a lot of older ones would identify similarly; were they not forced into not just a binary, but a fairly stereotyped binary, by culture and the medical community.
