Isn't honesty a worthy point for its own sake? Try honestly answering some of the hard questions and see if you don't feel better for it.

If you feel honesty isn't worth it, by all means continue as you have.

Wow.

That was nearly a word for word repetition of something a pastor of mine said years ago in order to criticize people who shied away from witnessing. You quite literally articulated a position I was taught to consider cowardly and repugnant in a Christian.

The sermon you just reminded me of was a foundational one in my youth, and the ideas articulated are one reason I, despite my adult agnosticism, still respect Christians who engage in honest debate and try to have a sincere exchange of ideas. There are active Mormons in this thread who have honestly answered the questions asked of them. I may not agree with their beliefs, I may even find they kooky, but I respect those people for having the courage and integrity to engage in the discussion. They honor their faith by doing so.

Janadele, go re-read the Parable of the Sower. Your commission from God is to sow the seed of the Gospel, regardless of what becomes of it. Yes, this forum may be full of thorns that will choke the Gospel, or rocky soil that will offer the roots no purchase, but as a Christian it is still your duty to sow the seeds, ESPECIALLY when you have been EXPLICITLY asked to do so by the very people in the forum. It is prideful and arrogant for you to presume to know where it is and is not "worth" witnessing.

You see before yourself a sea of people asking for you to tell us your REAL beliefs. Will you continue to wave tracts in our faces and gloat about your supposed faith, or will you, finally, make an honest effort at speaking to us?

I have my suspicions, but I will, like Christ, give you another chance. While the world teaches us that a "Leopard can never change its spots" I learned from a young age the power of repentance and redemption.

Which will it be Janadele? Will you be redeemed from the sin of pride that has driven you thus far? Are you a leopard or a lady?
 
Janadele, this is the type of life's little traumas when you would be well served to merely ask a moderator why this doesn't work, rather than assuming the world is out to get you. It's not.

I'd be surprised if there are many regular posters haven't had posts relegated to AAH. I certainly have. I do not find the mods to be discriminatory.

Does this mean you will finally provide empirical, physical evidence, attested to by neutral scholars, of horse culture, or domesticated cattle husbandry, or the raising of domesticated barley and wheat, or the presence of steelmaking technology, in the pre-Colombian Americas? Do note that special pleading evasions such as, "They must have meant 'tapir' ", or "They rode deer" , are not evidence....
