Latest Bigfoot "evidence"

footdom attacks science by misrepresenting it. I consider this a social evil, because the more people who blow off science out of self-interest, the worse it is for all of us.

Exactly. Bigfoot skepticism is bigger than claims of bigfoot. It's annoying because I love bigfoot and similar folklore, but the people who peddle in that folklore try to pass it off as real and their methods as scientific. This is very unlike the way, for example, the Irish spin yarns about the Little People. Bigfooters have distilled the charm out of bigfoot with their nonsense.

I've lurked this thread a bit and have a question. I took this photo in Kenya some years ago. It took some patience and some small skill with a mid range camera. Of all the people in all of the outdoors of North America, why can no one do this with Bigfoot? Yes the jackal is obscured in the tall grass. However, getting a photograph with a good resolution wasn't that hard. In all the years and all the people with cameras, why can't anyone do this?

I find it highly entertaining that the Slender Man photographs better than Bigfoot.

And the entire point of the Slender Man is that he's goddamn hard to photograph.

To be fair, that's a main point about Bigfoot, too. The problem is that the footers themselves concoct stories of multiple encounters, habituations, "migration corridors", etc. and such silliness is incompatible with the claims that it can't be photographed.

I want to see Bigfoot dressed as Slenderman now.

"Never interrupt someone doing what you said can't be done."
Who says people can't make up campfire stories?

Seriously, you can interrupt bigfoot proponents until kingdome come; then they'll resume (so to speak) with the same old, same old. Stories, but not ever any reliable evidence in favor of their favorite monkey. I'm sure every lurking bigfoot enthusiast (BLAARGer or not) would love to shove some of the aformentioned evidence up my giggy, but they cannot. Because they have none. No one does.

Please do not interrupt me while I build my perpetual motion free energy device. Unless you want to send money, of course.

That's an interesting story. Why do you believe it's true?
Chris B.

This part helps, Chris. There is at least an actual photo of apparent Hispanic people on what appears to be rocky mountainside posing with apparent airplane wreckage. Could it be vetted further? Sure, but it's already way better than any purported bigfoot evidence I've ever seen.

Physical evidence like the wrecked fuselage and bones of the victims. You know, good reasons for belief as opposed to credulous faith.
Yes, those were mentioned in the story.....talk about faith.

I remember seeing a picture of Dyer and a Bigfoot too, twice.
I guess I'm too skeptical. Chris B.

Hey, I got pics of bigfoot, too!
I can haz tales of it too!
Here's one sample; got more and better, under analysis. Its pretty easy to see the creature is not just a shadow.

Following your way of thinking, you should believe me.

So, Chris, are you ready to accept my bigfoot research is outstanding?

For this particular claim, of having found this particular crashed plane, the evidence presented isn't conclusive. But there's a larger point here- that the evidence for the general proposition that airplanes exist and do crash doesn't depend on this one claim or the evidence for it. By way of analogy- where's the comparable evidence for the general proposition that Bigfoot exists?

Yes, those were mentioned in the story.....talk about faith.
Planes are a physical reality, as are the physical remains of human beings. There are no physical remains of anything bigfoot, anywhere. Oh, and if it turns out this were some sort of hoax, I'd have to adjust my position.

We're not 12 here.

Again, no bigfoot anywhere; planes and people, ubiquitous.

You fail, again.

If Chris is BLAARGing, aren't all of the other posters BLAARGing too?

No, some of us are NoBLARGing. NoBigfoot Live Action Reality Gaming. This is where you face the reality of no bigfoot anywhere.

ETA: Although I have to admit Chris has the Alternative Reality portion of the BLAARG down pat.

^This. If the Chilean plane crash story cannot be confirmed I will cease to treat it as fact, sort of like this:

"When the story broke I assumed it was authentic based on the photograph. Now that the so-called mountaineers have been unable to provide physical evidence of their claim, I must conclude that I was wrong and the story was a hoax."

It's easy to change your mind about something based on additional evidence when you're not BLAARGing or going out of your way to shoehorn events to your personal whims.
