Whereas I agree with you that people often take political opinions on faith, I think your assessment of corplinx is wrong.
As far as I know, he's not a Democrat, he's just remarking on how Kerry's campaign seems to be beating Bush's on PR and "controlling the message."
This seems to be another logical fallacy with political discussions: labelling your opponent.
