Kent Hovind Convicted!!!

Who has been stealing? Hovind? From Skeptics?

P.T. Barnum was right.

DR

Actually, Hovind has stolen copyrighted material and used them in his own videos. He took some CG dinosaur footage from a BBC documentary on dinosaurs and put it into one of his creationism videos:

This is a 6.7M file so don't bother clicking if you have dial-up.

Also, Hovind and other tax evaders steal from the rest of us who do pay their fair share of taxes. Perhaps this is type of 'steeling' brodski is talking about?

Thanks for that tidbit. :)

Crook goes to jail.

I love your new avatar, Brodski. Is that yours or did you find it somewhere?

Kids = appetizers. ROTFL

Thanks, but I take no credit. Someone (I wish I could remember who) posted a thread about this plate and I nicked the picture from the OP. Apparently there is someone in Virginia driving around with this plate. :D

Anyone know roughly the dollar amount of taxes he didn’t pay? The article only says:
Kent Hovind is charged with 58 federal counts, including failure to pay $845,000 in employee-related taxes and withholdings.
Does the $845,000 only constitute one charge, leaving 57 other counts with various dollar amounts attached?

First, Ted Haggard gets hit with a homosexual-methamphetamine scandal, then Kent Hovind gets indicted for tax evasion. This is truly a red-letter day.

Scarlet, to be exact.

Ahh-Life is occasionally good.A break from just being life..
Now, the serving of the time , with all those imprisoned atheists.....Sweet!

Either that's sarcasm or......

Just in case it isn't, the proportion of professed atheists in US jails is lower than in the general US population.

He'll have a huge christian flock to minister to.

Another problem for Hovind is that he can't actually do the "finding God and repenting" thing before he goes in front of a parole board. He's supposed to have already done that...BEFORE he went to jail.

Gimme an H..Y..P!
Gimme an O..C..R!
Gimme a I..S..Y!
What does it spell?!
