And the last lot to really embrace the Bible ended up shooting abortion doctors, beating up (and sometimes killing) gays, performing all sorts of cruel (and sometimes fatal) exorcisms on people, etc.

And that's not even going into what the previous lots did, from the crusades to building ovens in the Renaissance to bake witches and apostates in, because God knows it was too merciful to have them scream in agony for just an hour or two.

Now at that point you might interject that yeah, but those are just a few nutcases, and it's not representative of all Christians or Christianity. And you'd even be right.

So then, why is it rational to do that extrapolation for a few trolling teens, when it's about Satanism?

I am too young to have any personal experience, but I believe the 1960's are what you're looking for. Now, naturally, I'm too old for another go-round at that sort of... edutainment.

The only evil thing that I could see in that clip was Beck's sense of style.

If Perry's performance was "full fledged witchcraft", then I think Satan's power's been seriously overstated.
A bit of singing and dancing in Halloween costumes and that's it?
