Merged Kanye West In 2020

<snip>

For those not familiar with Mr. West, Wikipedia describes him as an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and fashion designer. He is a best-selling artist and his other claim to fame is being married to one of the Kardashians.

He is also known as an opinionated loud mouth with poor impulse control who does not respond well to criticism.

So ... he'd fit right in with the current checklist for candidates.

As long as he ran as a Republican.

He'd probably be a better President than any of the clowns that are running for the GOP in 2016. Not that this is much of a compliment.

Are those in any particular order?

But West apologizes because he thinks it displays the grace befitting his status as messiah. Trump simply cannot see anything he's said or done as being wrong, a far more plebian failing.
Infallibility as a plebeian failing. An interesting assertion.

See Dunning–Kruger effectWP

Intriguing.

Because Donald Trump has so little understanding of what it takes to be a good statesman, international negotiator, or bi-partisan leader, he incorrectly believes that he has mastery in all three fields.

And in a similar vein, because ~25% of the population has no idea how to evaluate the qualifications of presidential candidates and their positions, they likewise consider themselves experts or near experts at spotting the best candidate. Therefore they are certain that they have selected Trump based on his qualifications, but when asked to describe his qualifications and how those qualifications are relevant to a 21st-century presidency, they simply say, he will shake things up, or, he knows what he is doing, or , he tells it like it is.

Hey, 47% of the electorate voted for Romney. And I wouldn't say any more than half of the Obama voters are any brighter.

That is not, in and of itself, evidence that they cannot judge a candidate's qualifications. The binary nature of the final race forces lots of people to hold their noses and vote for people they don't like.

Furthermore, we don't know how many of that 47% were single-issue voters who might have hated every aspect of Romeny except his view of abortion or his view of gun rights.

I was surprised to see this thread -- bumped, but I never knew it existed -- after the supermarket tabloid headlines I read while on the checkout line the other day. I did some Googling and apparently it is true. Kayne West was taken to an LA hospital for a psychiatric evaluation on Nov. 21. This was after his doctor placed a call to 911. LAPD officers and friends who were present managed to convince West, "It would be better," if he went to the ER. An EMS ambulance was summoned, they handcuffed West to a gurney and off he went.

They didn't keep him. Not too long anyway.

Based on being married for many years, I sympathize. In the early stages of matrimony my wife came close to making me nuts too. :( For real. Nobody ever made me feel that low before in my life. Not even the drill sergeants in the Army! I contemplate what marriage must be like for someone wedded to a high octane ego like princess Kim Kardashian and... Kayne, hang in there man!

It takes a while. In my case I was lucky. It turned out my wife really loves me and when she saw how miserable she made me at times...she modified her behavior. I don't see Kim Kardashian doing that. :(
