So, why does it matter if a person is being paid to "debunk" if they are correct?

Reminds me of an incident in '03 when a Fundy I was debating abruptly stopped arguing and started commanding the demons to come out of me. I proceeded to identify myself as five separate demonic entities and roped him back into the debate with all five of me by establishing that regardless of my origins, I would continue to cite only googleable scientific journals. It was by far the low point of my faith in humanity.

As I mentioned earlier, she believes in just about any conspiracy you can name. But she makes up a few of her own. At the moment, there is a mammoth thread nearly 300 pages long in which she claims that there are humans and animals on Mars and NASA is lying to us about them.

Her "evidence" is a load of the Phoenix rover's photos which she has manipulated to make more blurry and she has changed the colours of them and zoomed them in so there are white artifacts. She posts these pictures and highlights sections that she says show living creatures. The hilarious part is that the pareidolia effect is only happening to her... none of the images looks like anything other than rocks.

Certainly had its fan base, but for the most part they are my least favorite niche of the exploitation genre... my favorite genre of movies ever.
