Just heard Clinton is pulling out the Boss tomorrow

Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, Jay-Z, Beyonce, and more.

Donald has to very jealous that the biggest celebrity he can get is Ted Nugent.

Ted makes me nervous. I've seen him on the highway (I live in Michigan) and my first thought was, "I gotta get the hell away from that guy."


Side note: You know someone has money when the camo print on their truck matches the camo print on the trailer and on the boat they are hauling.
 
I'd like to take the opportunity to quell one of the more prevalent unexamined political myths in the US: yes, that actually is Springsteen's own butt on the album cover of Born in the USA. For decades people have been buying into the belief that it was a stunt butt, a model's butt, a butt flown in especially for the cover from Europe. Nope. It was Springsteen's very own butt. People just didn't believe it because it seemed too good a butt. Musical talent and a nice butt? Unfair, but such is life.

It's ok, I think his musical talent is such that it wouldn't be that unfair if he also had a nice butt (not that I'm that well equipped to judge the latter).:p

But then I have fairly non-mainstream taste in music...

Singing for a war hawk, corporatist sell out to wall street? That makes sense.

I have a varied taste in both music and butts, and Springsteen was good in both fields. For the music don't judge by the eponymous 'Born in the USA' which was overrated. 'I'm on Fire' is much better.

It's surprising to me and a lot of people that Bruce has been relatively quiet during this campaign. He held a number of concerts and events in previous years for Obama and John Kerry, and he's certainly no Trump fan. Some earlier action in swing states like Ohio and North Carolina might actually have made a tangible difference.

Basically both Clinton and Trump were for the war in Irak, as demonstrated by existing taped interview from the time, at least before it started, and both are corporation sell out. Thanks god you added "singing for" before otherwise it would have been hard to know whether it was Clinton or Trump you were speaking about.

Well, I suppose the fact that his nickname is 'the Boss' instead of 'the lowly factory worker beaten down by the daily grind, trying to raise his kids and finding an outlet in illegal street racing despite the concern of his wife who was also his high school sweatheart' should have been a hint ;)

Hillary and Slick Willy are straight up Political Gangsters. It's on the news every day thanks to WikiLeaks. If you or I or anybody else had done the same things as the Clinton's, we would be in jail for the rest of or lives.

Obviously, Trump doesn't need anything more than Ted. Without the Katy Perry, Beyonce, etc., and minorities of all stripes and color that include, but not limited to, Mexcians who illeaglly crossed our border and stay, Mid-Eastern extraction, terrorists, etc., Democrats would have a much harder time getting elected. Why do you think Hillary's opening the southern border wide open and allowing illegal border crossers rape our once great and sovern nation with more and more bolder and disdainful of Americans?

Now, before you come back at me thinking I'm a Republician, know this; I'm a G.D.I.(Gosh Darned Independent - pc version). I personally think Trump is a thin skinned narcisist that would never pass the first round. The incredible irony is that in the days of the founding forefathers
they would have executed the Clintons for treason and they would praise Edward Snowden for being a hero.

Before you even try to respond, read up on the Founding Forefathers and expecially Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson and then I'll respond to you are anyone else who disagrees with me.

I'm sure you're right - don't take my views on music too seriously. I have a sort of reverse snobbery when it comes to well known, successful (British or American*) artists.

Bear in mind the song currently about to play in my car is the fantastic "Goblin Kings of the Darkstorm Galaxy" off the epic Gloryhammer album 'Rise of the Chaos Wizards'.;)

*I add this qualifier because some of the bands I like are hugely successful across Europe but there's a great snobbery factor in British media whereby unless it's from Britain or America it gets no attention whatsoever.
