June Stundie Nominations

Eh, I think if someone can afford to have lots of kids and they do a good job raising them.....then that's fine. There are lots of childless couples out there to even things out.

If you've read about them, they're not exactly ideal parents. Basically the older kids raise the younger ones and they are heavy on the physical punishment, even for infants, as discipline. They're closer to the Phelps clan in terms of family/evil cult than to "that big family down the block with all those kids."

The 1940′s are long over, and it is high time we modernize our energy use.

The bankers don’t want us to modernize our energy use, because requiring us to buy lots of gasoline and other oil based, centrally manufactured, “throwaway” products keeps us controllable via the leverage of the New World Order oligarchy.

If we (largely) produced for ourselves, and used the global economy only for the most specialized things like computers, cell phones, and choo choo trains, we would have much greater control over our own lives. This is how we make the State wither away.

This is a comment from the author of the post. Here he tells us how women working is bad and how women should be at home raising kids and farming:

Economic relocalization would take a lot of the economy out of the official corporate realm, because people would be doing stuff for one another. Right now, day cares pay lots of taxes. Imagine that! In a relocalized economy, women would work at home farming barefoot and pregnant and actually raise and teach their kids — forget “day care.” Oy vey, less taxes, less “professional women,” marketing and selling useless crap (along with the hapless men doing the same).

Consumerist energy wasteful society enslaves us and empowers the few at the top of the pyramid. Consumerism is a rat race and a pyramid and a Ponzi scheme. The Transition Town people are modern day revolutionaries.

I suspect the author is a part of "the vagina is a clown car" brigade.

The the author tells us how everyone on SSI and in prison should be working in farming:

I do think more people should be working in farming. There’s a lot of able bodied young adults living on SSI (social security “crazy checks”). Let them work on farms for their crazy checks. Maybe a lot of them would discover they weren’t crazy after all and go get a regular job. Also, people classified as “developmentally disabled” (aka “retarded”) and prison convicts could all be working the fields.

Finally, one of the big problems in the USA today, as the PUA community well knows — so many fat people. Why? Because they live on processed food, which is artificially flavored, and strong flavors create a higher set point of appetite, thus they eat more than they would have if they ate natural food that isn’t so intensely, chemically flavored. The connection between flavor and obesity is the premise of “the shangri-la diet” by Seth Roberts.

Ok I will try to limit my comments to the technical properties of a Possible Thermite

Ring or Rod Shaped Magnetic Material

Charged (magnetized) so that two poles are at opposite sides of the ring or on opposite poles of the rod.

The reach of the magnet is roughly equal to the spacing between poles. NdFeB magnets are very strong and are quite flammable. Eutectic mixing of Nd with steel can bring the melting point down to about 1100C

Inside the ring or around the rod would be a whiffle structure. Like a whiffle ball.

This will give high aerodynamic drag.

The whiffle and the ring create a light weight structure which can roll.

By the time the baggage compartment would rupture, the velocity would be below 500mph. The magnet structures would be dispersed in a rough asymmetric cone shaped area from the point of rupture.

Because of gravity this would be a cone shape on the floor of the impact area. Some would stick high up, but not many.

Two factors would allow them to be concentrated after dispersion, gravity and high velocity air flow.

The impact would have knocked the fireproofing off the steel in many locations.

The magnets would be dispersed on a surface plane that was heavily damaged, holes, twisting etc,

The airflow would be erratic but strong in some areas.

They would blow about on the surface until they encountered bare steel, a hole, or another magnet.

The ones encountering bare steel would be anchored.

The ones encountering holes will stick on just this, or just on the other side of a hole, out of the airflow. A hole in the steel, but not in the fireproofing nearby seems unlikely.

It would be a very difficult problem statistically to determine group size and dispersion.

Assuming that at least 50% of the material would group with one other magnet, you could get large groups containing .1 to .2 percent of the total material.

Assume 2000lbs of original material.

Some groups/ clusters could contain between 2 to 4 pounds of material. Say 10% of the total material is in clumps this size. At 3 pounds per cluster and 200 pounds this would be about 66 clumps.

As the bonding material flows from nearby heat source it could expose a surface that will ignite on contact with heated oxygen (not at room temperature).

Some will light immediately to minimal effect. Some magnets will go to areas where they will never light before the main clusters. If the magnets were not coated or had a coating that was not waterproof they will rapidly corrode in contact with water.

Staying on the topic of health, the government does not force us to eat or not eat something. The food pyramid, which has been revised, is merely a suggestion. That being said, I do think they are purposely misleading the populace with their suggestion of a high carb diet to benefit the profits of Big Agro and Big Pharma. It cannot be otherwise. The AMA and FDA are comprised of intelligent scientists and doctors who have all the latest state of the art technology at their disposal for research purposes.

They know what’s healthy and what isn’t, and yet they continue to promote an unhealthy food plan.

You know it never ceases to amaze me how Conspiracy Theorists simultaneously fear "big oil" and believe that global warming is a sham.

Oh, and I just noticed this one from Saggy.

His evidence for a complete news blackout is a link to a news story describing the events that have been completely blacked out of the news.

Dave

Well, to be fair, I think sometimes by "news blackout" they mean "ignored by the major news outlets." If the only sources that covered a story were a couple of small local newspapers and maybe a minor blog or two, then it'd be fair to say that the issue had little coverage.

But yeah, it's funny to read "the press ignored this and here's the news story to prove it!"

This is a Very Special Stundie from RedIbis.

Sure, go right ahead. But when you do make sure the claim is that black smoke is only from an oxygen starved fire.

Make sure that the clam is that molten/melted metal can only occur if thermite is present.

Make sure that the claim is that all explosions mean explosives.

If not, you are building strawmen. That is, creating a non-existent argument purely for the purpose of a circle "auto-stimulation".

Now, this one doesn't have the classic form, I'll freely admit. But just look at what RedIbis has done here. He's so desperate to frame a coherent accusation of the strawman fallacy against debunkers, that he's effectively thrown all the major arguments of the truth movement under the bus to do it.

Seldom have I seen someone so comprehensively shoot himself in the foot. He's pretty much blown the whole leg off.

Dave

Of course here he is claiming one of the most over covered news media events of the last year was not being covered at all. It's like claiming no one knew about the Apollo Moon Landings until 1977.

C7 delivers an expose on the perils of runaway rhetoric:
Failing to put out the two relatively small fires in WTC 7 forced everyone to STOP rescue and just wait 3 hours. How many people died because of that?

I'm thinking of a nice round number, who can guess?

Mind controlling cell towers

Found here
http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=208762

http://educate-yourself.org/mc/

"The day is now approaching in which government mind control technologies will be directed at you, your neighbors, and your loved ones. Every single day, equipment is being erected and installed in this country with the hidden purpose of exerting mind control over the entire population. Everywhere in this country (and overseas), ELF/microwave transmission towers are being erected. The antennae usually look like four slightly curved vertical plates about 2 feet in length and located in either 3 or 4 quadrants around the tower, two thirds up from the ground. Just look around, you'll see them. And you'll also notice more of them going up once you begin to pay attention. No one is saying anything, but you're expected to presume that they're for cell phones. (Do you really think that we need that much 'cell phone' transmission capability, every few blocks? Do you realize how very little energy is used by genuine cell phone usage? Yet these towers are capable of putting out levels of power that exceed cell phone requirements by a wide margin) These mind control technologies have been in place for a long time. It's not an accident that the frequency band chosen for cell phone use just happens to match the second order waves that Wilhelm Reich discovered in the late1940's to effect thought transmission and allow the mind to be manipulated without the victim realizing it."

From my experience of 9/11 theories, there's something about cellular telephony that conspiracy theorists find impossible to grasp. Then again, there's something about most subjects...

Dave

We have so much "mind control" going on. I wonder what we're doing that is beyond our desire?

Well, 90% of it is wasted keeping us from noticing the mind control towers, so really, all they can do with the last 10% is keep Alex Trebek on the air.
