Those near Las Vegas may wish to prepare themselves for the International Remote Viewing Association 2010 Conference to be held at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa, and Casino. Located in Henderson, Nevada (about 15 miles from Las Vegas), the psychic and paranormal discussions will be held June 18th - 20th.

For those who might be reflecting on just how well the organizers of this conference investigate how accurate their own speakers are --- here's something to think about. In 2006 they invited "psychic detective" Noreen Renier to their conference and videotaped her presentation.

Several critics have reviewed Renier's presentation and pointed out that her portrayal of a case locating a crashed aircraft was "a bogus fantasy even Renier knows is her own delusional psychic vomit" and a case long dismissed as only a creative fantasy after investigation.

But for 2010? Among the guests returning for another presentation is --- yes indeed. It would seem the International Remote Viewing Association doesn't really want to be informed by facts, but instead entertained with delusional fantasies.

If I were a remote viewer, I could think of a lot of things to do in Las Vegas that would be more profitable than attending a conference.
