July Stundie Nominations

Irony at its finest

I need to sneak one in at the last moment here;
I posted on the Blackvault;
Once again the thread topic is 9/11 and once again those who purport to be so very interested in the 'truth' about 9/11 change the topic to something of a political nature.

You guys just make my point for me. You want 9/11 to be a corrupt gov't operation because it then fits your pre-conceived notion that it is a corrupt gov't.

.......... I do notice the prevalence of debunkers here. THAT is unmistakable.

Every stinking time I identify the GOV doing something bad the debunkers here on the NEO-BV immediately chime in with dirty corporation stuff. Oy! If you people who seem to have sold your soul to big government really believe in it then you are Eloi. The closest I ever came to being a slave was working for the government. And no amount of b.s. here is going to change that. I believe government is evil. All governments are evil, because they are driven by the quest for power. Far more corrupting than money.

People want money so they can go sit on a beach with an umbrella drink. People want power to control other people's lives. Which is more evil?

Bang on

not by a long shot

this one is particularly good as it shows how they apply inconsistent methods to get whatever result they want

Yes, I think that's exactly it.

I picture them sitting there, their tongues clinched firmly in their front teeth, fiendishly scribbling numbers and erasing them and scribbling and erasing and scribbling until they get just the right combination. Or even better: Forrest Gump style; mouths moving silently with each addition and subtraction until they get just the right permutation.

In My Spare Time, I think that's a winner. Thank you very much for the side-splitter.

Am I the only one who starts laughing uncontrollably when some whack-job starts crunching numbers in an effort to prove -- well, whatever it is they're trying to prove?

Surely not.

Just now my wife hollered at me from the other room wondering what the **** was so funny. I didn't even bother trying to explain.

Thanks again.

It ranks up there with those who disect song lyrics to 'prove' that the author knew something was going to occur.

My ex-wife 'knew' that a Leonard Cohen song was about an affair that I had had ( I never had an affair) and that somehow L.C. knew about. (now you understand a little about why she is my ex)
,, and I keep getting a whack job showing me rock song lyrics indicating that the author knew about 911, in the 1970's.
