Is this your source, by the way?
No. My source comes direct from a member of the "love media".
And that's about as far as I can/will go on sources for the obvious reasons of anonymity.

this would be the same source for all the other rumours you come up with about Gillard that never turn into anything either,
So they were stupid rather than evil. I'm not sure that counts as improvement.
I think it is all wishful thinking by the Gillard haters. You are the boy who cried wolf, Alfie. How many times has Gillard been gone now?

Two journalists were sacked last year when they brought this up.
Come on Alfie this is a sceptical forum not a woo forum. Two journalists were sacked last year when they brought this up.![]()
I'm sure that other episode will turn up eventually.Next on Four Corners: In key parts of Australia, koalas are dying in big numbers. There is no doubt Australians want to save this much-loved national icon, but are we prepared to compromise to protect their natural habitat? "Koala Crunch Time", Monday 20th August at 8.30pm on ABC1.

You know what we need don't you.
Yes evidence.
Where is your evidence that these journalists (and who are they, and who do they work for) were sacked because what they wrote about Gillard.
Evidence please.

Here's a few snippets.
If you care to look up anything on Smith and Milne you will find plenty of info. Like Pickering, he (Smith) is doing the rounds of the radio stations these days (for those that dare to interview him). He has his version and he reckons he was sacked; so does Milne. Sacked, dropped, parted company - whatever. The coincidences are too great.
That said, the accusations of sloppy journalism or similar may also be true. That would be easier to believe if others writing now were being placed under similar pressure and scrutiny.
Anyway, it is an interesting story - some (you presumably) hope it's wrong, others hope it's right. I am obviously in the corner of the latter - the sooner she's gone the better for Australia.
Only time will tell.
I agree. Many holes, much speculation; only time will tell. It will be fun to watch one way or the other.
In the way that watching a farrago of lies being used to smear someone is fun.
