*sigh* well someone asked to friend me on FB (OK, the store in any case). I did so after glancing at their newsfeed to ensure it was a legitimate person. Their feed had lots of liberal stuff but that is perfectly fine.

Today? A truther post with a picture that is covered with some of the dumbest questions I have seen since 2006. ugh.

I broadly agree... I'm basically talking about people like 7forever on the Kennedy conspiracy for example that literally spends his life perpetuating a dead conspiracy theory. There's a small political forum I frequent from time to time where they didn't really do anything to him and he literally posted JFK's head shot continuously between 2010 and now (30 plus pages of nothing but his posts). Human nature just dictates that you'll still have these loons believing in this material long after the CT has become irrelevant to the mainstream. The Kennedy conspiracies and Apollo Hoaxers are in my opinion good indicators of where the 9/11 trutherism is headed.

The US Government concluded in 1977 that there was a conspiracy to kill President Kennedy, involving Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby and unknown others.

That was some 37 years ago.

The government reaffirmed that conclusion in the final report of the ARRB in 1998.

The statement released by the Board:The medical/legal evidence from the autopsy of the President is so compromised that no further investigation of the angle and location of missiles that struck the President is warranted.

That closed the case in 1998.

Thither my involvement with him. I challenged him to debate his hoaxed Moon landing theory, and he ran in terror. Apparently my 25 years as a space engineer wasn't worthy of his attention; if I didn't have a PhD then he wasn't interested. He knows practically nothing about space exploration. Literally -- 13yo boys know more than he does.

Fetzer is an odd duck... he speaks and writes well.. has education but has enormous holes in things technical and just reasons like a child... accepts fake experts and parrots them... obviously without the background to know if they are BS or not. He's a piece of work. Such an odd collection of characters in the truth camp.

I realize that they're very different conspiracies, but I believe that their status as a mainstream element of society is one thing they have in common... I'm not going to profess that they're exactly the same in that regard either but it gets the point across.
