JREF Exclusive: Mark Cuban update

So Mark Cuban subreptitious reaches for the rights of
Loose Change 3 just to distribute the follow up rebutting
Dylan's movie. And he forbids to spread the movie on
YouTube, Google and Torrent's...

This is brilliant! :D
He didn't change his name from Mark Cubanstein, did he?

Avery:
Here's what happened. Mark Cuban contacted someone from SLC for a possible, POSSIBLE, extra on the DVD where they get to rebut certain points. That's all.

Mark is being very smart and tactical about this entire thing. If anyone fails to see that, I'm sorry.

He is simply the ONLY person in this business willing to put his career on the line to distribute this kind of movie.

Oh well, that's ok then.

You only get to rebut CERTAIN points guys.

Just the deliberate mistakes avery is going to put in. Just for you.

:D

I'm really curious on how they will do this, considering the fact that I am not a film maker and I don't plan to be one.

Neither is Avery; leastwise, not a very good one. Loose Change is not a film; it is a video tailored for the internet that anyone could produce using Smartsound Movie Maestro, for example. While it is technically sound, it is sorely deficient in content, regardless of whether its claims are true or not. Loose Change: Final Cut may be an actual movie targeted for global release; but if it is, I guarantee Avery has very little input as far as production goes.

From my impressions, Loose Change is being forced to change stuff to make appear more sane for publishing and nothing is set in stone. Now as for this "extras" for the DVD, I call BS on Dylan because they admitted to me that they weren't too sure on what methods they were going to use to make a "point-counterpoint" in the film. If they already had an idea on what to do, they would've told me instead of "We don't know yet".

Again, nothing is 100% here. No deals, contracts, or signings occured. For all I know, they will cut me off in the end and that will be it. I just merely posted that Mark Cuban knows there is opposing evidence against Loose Change, including Screw Loose Change video, and contacted me. That is all.

If there is going to be a SLC "section" in LC:FC then I'd suspect that release of the final film is quite a ways off.

So this is what ol' Dylan was referring to when he said something about trying to "keep content."

Cuban is intending on distrubuting Second Edition exclusively, not Final Cut.

That would be very hard, considering the copyright issues...

I believe you are correct. But I also think that if Cuban was inexplicably determined to market the video, he has the resources to make compensation to, and get copyright permission from, the appropriate people.

Lol, 10 minutes on a DVD extra is good enough.

However, I would assume more of a "straight to DVD" kind of deal would be more probable.

Either way, you can tell Dylan is pissed off ;)

I'm only going to say this once and feel no need to point this out, but the good majority of the people on this forum are Atheists. We don't believe in miracles around here.

Is Cuban planning to distribute Final Cut or just Second Edition?

Avery:

"He is simply the ONLY person in this business willing to put his career on the line to distribute this kind of movie."

They have one single person willing to distribute their stuff. That one single person doesn't even believe in their movie. And that one single person is going to accompany the film with at least some debunking. You could say this is not their ideal situation

And, maybe DA could explain how Cuban is putting his career on the line? The guy's a billionaire and none of his current ventures risk enough money to worry him, financially. Hell, he's paid more NBA fines for shooting off his mouth than LC will ever make.

That's great news. We already know Cuban has probably watched or heard of your film.
And as it has been said, if you do get money from this, do donate it to charities.
Or gather it for a bigger film, which is like punching the Ct's even more.....proably futile but....it surely does give you pleasure.

I can Imagine.
Dylan: "That will not be happening!" * grabs Mark Cuban's legs* "Do not betray me!!"
