The only concern I have about Obama is his lack of leadership experience. But I voted for Clinton in 1992..who governed Arkansas. So, Barak has my vote.

Who the hell voted for Hillary? Hillary got 10 votes and Mike Gravel got 2? What the hell? Hillary who think video games are responsible for violence? That woman is simply fake. Her face looks like it's plastic and her whole personality seems to be the same, made of plastic.
Who the hell votes for somebody because of their facial expressions? I wonder if we put a camera on you 24/7 if we might come up with a silly-looking frame or two?

If you don't like Hillary, fine (I'd prefer someone else myself), but I would hope you have some better reasons than just the way she looks or some straw-man about her views on violence.

So then you should be OK with Bush. He fits your criteria.

Not the same. Bush corrected himself immediately, Obama did not.

C' mon! This is really important to you? :eye-poppi

No wonder real issues never see the light of day in this country. :boggled:

I picked Kucinich. However, I will vote for whomever gets the Democratic nomination.

1. Hillary is fake. Everything she does is fake and is only used to get votes. She didn't use to be like that 10 years ago but today everything she does is fake. Remember when she railed on about how Imus should get fired? Know why she did that? Not because she thought what he said was offensive, but because she had a personal grudge against him from the presidential dinner several years ago when he made a Joke about Clinton's affair.

2. What "strawman"? Hillary thinks video games cause violence and proposed legislation to keep 'violent games' out of stores sold to minors. Essentially removing most of them from the market completely.

Call me paranoid, but I'm pretty sure I don't want Hillary wielding the powers of the Patriot Act.

.

So do you have any tangible evidence that she did not think "nappy-headed ho" was offensive when applied to a college team? You seem certain that her reason was 100% grudge and nothing else. Isn't possible that she called for the firing because she wants Al Sharpton's support or her constituents wanted it and she wanted to support their desires?

I agree with the claim that she is very fake, but I think you went too far in this accusation.

Also, why do you think fakeness is an undesireable trait in a president?

So what exactly do you think Hillary would do that people like Bush, Cheney, or Gore would not do?

(Why is his name the only name on the list in italics?) Because he is Italian?

No, he shows in italics on the poll results for you because he's the option you selected. I don't know if you were being sarcastic about this or not, but I figured I best answer in case you weren't

Do you think GWB is desireable?

Fakeness doesn't even make my top ten list of things I dislike about GWB.

I am much more concerned with competence, broad-mindedness, farsightedness, and wisdom than sincerity. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Hillary is the best candidate as measured by these other traits - I am just saying that fakeness is not a reason to eliminate a candidate.

I'll probably vote libertarian. I don't expect them to win, but I do hope that they hit the 5% mark and receive federal funding. I believe that all political parties would field better candidates if there were more than two horses in the race.

Does anyone else find that ironic? :boggled:

If Romney wasn't a Mormon I think he would have a great shot at winning. Not sure how much of the fundie vote he can get.
Which is grotesque in my estimation. Here is a man who apparently doesn't actually believe anything and who's opinions on things are completely facile. I think of the mileage Reps have gotten out of calling Dems "flip floppers" - as inane as that whole campaign was - and it makes me want to vomit. And now, of course, we have a man as President who nearly destroyed the military and made the US vulnerable in a way it never has been - and yet we will have Reps running on how the Dems are soft on national defense. The idiocy of it is staggering. Not mention Reps will somehow have the nerve to run on the premise that they are the fiscally responsible party - again, it boggles the mind.
