Dear Scientologist,

With the Sea Org spearheading the expansion of Scientology, it is imperative that more Scientologists step in to help in this crusade.

LRH states: "The size and scope of our orgs today shows just how effective the SO really is. This is a hard cold fact. The Sea Org is the toughest, most dedicated team this planet has ever known. It has the reputation of being at cause over the environment with a stellar level of ethics and responsibility that makes it an elite group. Against such a powerful team, the opposition hasn't got a chance and the goal of a cleared planet becomes more of a reality with each new day. It isn't an easy job, but no Sea Org member expects it to be easy. Mankind is indebted to the work you are doing. We are the only ones with the technology to restore the abilities of basic life. And the Sea Org is creating the environment to make delivery possible." (SO Message 12 Aug 84)

The Freewinds is expanding its ranks in order to get ready for the release and delivery of New OT IX and X. Needed and wanted are clean, dedicated Scientologists who want to get the job done in making the first OTs and creating a new civilization. You may qualify to be part of this team. Postings that are needed to be filled include auditors, supervisors, engineers, musicians, executives, housekeeping staff, chefs, administrators and many more.

Nowhere is there more demanded of you as a being than in the Sea Org. If you have the courage to fully participate in making our goal of an OT civilization, you may be chosen to be part of this elite team. The viewpoint being:"YOU ARE TOTALLY CAPABLE OF DOING ANY JOB AND MORE. So knock off all this case stuff and out-ethics stuff and nonsense. YOU ARE CAPABLE OF FAR FAR MORE THAN WE WILL EVER DEMAND OF YOU. So quit kidding yourself if you are. YOU ARE HERE, YOU ARE ABLE. I don't have to hold your hand or change your pants for you. SO BE CAPABLE AND DO A GREAT JOB. Nobody believes that you can't. THIS IS YOUR LIFE. We aren't kidding now. YOU CAN MAKE THINGS GO RIGHT!!!" (Flag Ship Order 517, This is Your Life)

The Sea Org is a tough challenge. Our responsibility is the future of mankind. But the rewards you get from the knowingness that you have helped to reverse the downward spiral of this planet are beyond your imagination. You are needed NOW.

"We're not playing some minor game in Scientology. It isn't cute or something to do for lack of something better. The whole agonized future of this planet, every man, woman and child on it, and your own destiny for the next endless trillions of years depend on what you do here and now with and in Scientology." (HCO PL KEEPING SCIENTOLOGY WORKING)

Please fill out the following questions to find out if you qualify, and send them back to me.

I'm beginning to think you have something against CoS. Any stories you want to share?

Why is the tenth question on a Sea Org application, "Are you interested in joining Sea Org"?

and WHAT'S UP WITH THE CAPITALIZATION THING?

I merely loathe crime in general, and organized crime in particular--- more so when it kills, maims, and cripples people.

http://holysmoke.org/cos/pi-fun.htm for a brief account of the crime syndicate's attempts to silence my criticism of their crimes and human rights abuses.

I'm wondering if they'll try to get a court order to seize the JREF servers because you're "defaming" them here, like they did in Europe.

Without fear of exagerating, there must be at least one hundred thousand web pages that expose the Scientology crime syndicate's crimes and human rights abuses. The crime syndicate only harasses the ones high in the Google search index.

nobody ever believes me when i tell them about the Sea Org. people know that the Xenuts are, well, nuts, but the Sea Org is apparently just too much for some people.

Do these guys actually have boats that they sail around on, or are they just a kind of fake military-esque organization?

And if they do have boats, where do they float to?

Oh, read your site, Dp. Funny stuff. I like your style.

edit, typo

GM: When LRH started the Sea Org, they had a little flotilla of converted cargo ships and yachts that they cruised around in. Mostly, they made bad movies and searched for aliens and buried treasure. After he nearly got popped by the FBI, they ditched most of the ships and went entirely land-based. The Co$ does have a pretty big passenger ship called the Freewinds that is more of a floating resort for their big spenders. I think that's the only place you can go for OT8.

edit: spelling

Desertphile, were you a follower or do you know one? I realize this group is pretty nutty and they get a lot of moronic hollywood types to contribute, but why so much time spent on them?

Travolta is gay?!?!???!!??!?!?!

"Travolta told Scientology that if they couldn't handle his homosexuality, too damn bad."

The "advanced courses" are sold and "provided" on Freewinds (a ship laden with blue asbestos, and a cancer death trap) and at some of the "advanced orgs." OT7 and OT8 are sold only on Freewinds because they are well-known to drive people insane (a hell of a lot of Scientology customers working on OT7 have gone insane and/or killed themselves).

OT9 and OT10 were supposed to be "released" (i.e., made up and sold) when the crime syndicate completed the "Super Power Building" in Clearwater Florida, but that building stands uncompleted, unworked upon, and is crumbling into pieces with the interior exposed to the weather--- Scientology Inc. apparently is having problems finding contractors that will trust them.

I have never been a Scientology customer, nor salesperson.

The few mental health care professionals that work with victims of thought reform and mind control ("brainwashing") almost all agree that Scientology is the worse, and that victims of Scientology take a hell of a lot longer to treat and recover than other "cult" groups. Wellspring, if I recall correctly, pointed out that recovery time for Scientology victims is nearly twice as long on average than other high-control totalitarian "cult" groups.

Therefore and therein lies the reason why I spend "so much time on them:" I consider it my civic and ethical, moral duty.

Freewinds blue asbestos death trap was mentioned above. The following is a Scientology advertisement that mentions the "courses" one buys and "takes" on that vessel.

Sure sounds like a BUSINESS instead of a "religion," eh?

YOUR SUCCESSES FROM THE APPLICATION OF LRH TECH RECEIVED AT THE FREEWINDS IN REQUESTED

Dear Scientologist,

Many Scientologists have completed services at the Freewinds and have gone back home and rocketed up the Bridge! Others have used the Knowledge from the OT Hatting Courses and or Conventions given at the Freewinds and have gone back to their area and created large effects on the 3rd and 4th dynamics. Still others have had what qualify as miracles. We want your story for possible use at an International Scientology event or one of the Freewinds Magazines or Newsletters.

You may have stories both of your own personnel success in life and your success in applying the data to others, in this case we would like you to include here both.

Please write your story here:

though I'm adamantly anti-Scientology comments like this should be backed up with some sort of facts or statistics. How many people or how many as a percentage? Is there hard evidence or is it anecdotal or hearsay?

DECLARATION OF LAWRENCE WOODCRAFT

Freewinds and blue asbestos: http://www.holysmoke.org/minton/mintonna.htm

Scientology customers spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase these "advanced levels" of Scientology "technology," not knowing that the ship they must live on for months or even years to acquire those "courses" has not been rendered safe by USA standards. Freewinds does not make any USA ports in part because the ship is too great a health hazard.

http://whyaretheydead.net lists a few. Most such deaths are also listed on my own web site http://holysmoke.org but are scattered among several dozen web pages out of thousands. It has not occured to me to lump them all onto one page. If I cared enough I would support my observation: accept or reject as is one's nature.

If you cared enough about the issue, you could ask in alt.religion.scientology for names and numbers.
