The virgins in paradise could be eighty year old Catholic nuns. One of the idiotic hymns that they made me sing in school was about standing around god's throne for a thousand years singing his praises. It struck me that this god must be a narcissistic numpty and how supremely boring the standing around would be. Sounds more like hell to me.

Going back to Edward, there's one other thing. "Are you the one with the new refrigerator?" meant that he claimed to know it was someone from the group, but wasn't sure if it was you. So it would have been counted as a hit even if another group member had said "yes," which increases the probability of a hit dramatically.

As for the fingerprints, they are a pretty common concern for people with kids who are looking at refrigerators.

As for Valerie Harper, IIRC, he said he's "sensing a Valerie." Is that correct?

And even if the fridge was a year old the marks who want to believe would still say yes. If you asked a group of people who had a new TV, it's a fairly safe bet that one person would say yes. Colour me deeply unimpressed by Edward's cold reading.

To try and make a long story short, I won't be commenting anymore...someone has been harassing me on my other site and apparently has been quietly following me on here as well. I like and respect you and so felt you deserved an explanation for my sudden disappearance. It is time for me to truly move on. And believe me that is not easy! Oh hogwash, get yer butt back on here and hang around. You can't take it so seriously, although it was kinda dumb to start all this up under your real name. There are a lot of nut jobs out there but honestly this site doesn't have very many. Even the people on here I can't stand are decent people, and believe me I've cruised around on a lot of sites and met a lot of creeps.

The comments on your two blog posts were closed several days ago, so whoever it is can't continue to harass you. (BTW, I'd recommend opening your own blog on Blogger or a similar host. That way, the blog is under your control. You can change your name and identifying detail if you want, and you can delete comments if someone is bullying you.)

My brother's a Jehova's Witness. He believes that those who are resurrected after they die will live together on Earth in harmony with all other people and animals. Everyone will build their own houses and grow their own food.

Which means that after I'm dead I'm still going to be expected to work for a living. With no internet.

Bugger that.

Bu... Bu... But, I just clicked onto your blog and the little advert they're running is for REFRIGERATORS :eye-poppi ! Surely it's a sign that you should continue posting here on this topic. (Or at least give us some of the details of the stalker/stalking. We're nothing if not gluttons for that kind of stuff.)
 
I think she's referring to the commenter who mentioned butterflies, possibly referring to her niece's experience with monarch butterflies that Robin discussed here. It may well be a poster or lurker here who followed the link she posted to the Yorktown page. The commenter is pretty abrasive, but I wouldn't call that stalking.
