Actress Tori Spelling talked with John Edward over the phone, who claimed to have channeled the spirit of Farrah Fawcett.

Tori said:
"If it had been some psychic that I'd walked in off the street for five bucks it would have been different. But it came through John Edward," she says. "He's a medium, so he channels people. I've been to regular psychics that turn over cards, tarot cards, and sort of read your future, that type of thing. But, with him, literally people just come to him and say things that they want the person to hear."

Oh– John Edward said it so it must be true... (typed sarcastically.)

Interestingly, The Huffington Post pointed out how this claim coincides with Tori's book promo, 'Unchartered TerriTori.'

Here's the link for the Out article.

I don't think I'll buy Spelling's book. I don't think I'll pay to see a movie with Tori Spelling in it.

The depths that some of these celebs will sink to just to sell books and get their names back into the media is mind-boggling.

She's talkative. I think Van Praagh claims to have channeled her as well.

I used to work in the writers' department on Beverly Hills, 90210 and I can safely say this is no where near the craziest thing Tori believes in. Book promotion or not, she is serious about this. Her brother is now a life coach so it runs in the family.

Or, as Steve Martin once put it,"After the hours I spent holding her poster up with one hand!"

He also said - “Don't have sex man. It leads to kissing and pretty soon you have to start talking to them.” - which would be even worse if she looked like John Edward.

Yeah, she seems to believe in her ability to act.

Just out of curiosity, was her father the same way? Aaron Spelling always struck me as a fairly skeptical guy, so I'm curious if I had the wrong impression about him.

Candy, on the other hand, always seemed like the wooish type. Probably had a scrying room in her mansion.

Tori is a froot loop.

He also said "I like to put women up on a pedestal, just high enough so you can look up their skirts." What this has to do with Farrah Faucett, I have no idea.

Well, to give Tori credit, she says that it wasn't just any con-man, but a really rich con-man.
He must be the truthiest of all the grifters.

It would interesting to see if John Edwards could channel Arthur Ford, the psychic who channeled the mother of Harry Houdini ,and managed to come up with the phrase that Harry had been waiting to hear all his life [Feb 8,1928] .This phrase was mentioned in an interview almost one year before by the Brooklyn Daily Eagle [March 13,1927]The phrase was made up using a code of 10 figures ,and extensively used by Harry and Bess Houdini during their stage performances. There are no more secrets !

Ummm, no.

I don't know either, but he also said “I like a woman with a head on her shoulders. I hate necks.”

The way I remember it now, it was more like "I want a woman with a head on her shoulders, so when we walk into a room together every head turns.
Except hers because she has no neck!"
The internet is even less reliable than my memory. Maybe John Edward can channel John Bartlett.
