Arbery did attempt to evade Travis.

It was Arbery who first moved away from Travis who was armed with a shot and possibly aiming it at him.

After Arbery ran behind the truck Travis armed with shotgun moved towards the front of truck and fired a shot at Arbery.

There is no evidence that Travis did anything other than attack and kill Arbery.

But what did Arbery do when he got to the front of the truck? Stop? Run straight? Run away? Run toward Travis? Get on his knees? Turn around and run back? Yell at them?

What did he do when he got to the front of the truck?

I think he was using the truck as a way to close the distance with Travis and do a surprise attack, I think he'd decided on going for the shotgun as soon as he saw Travis stop the truck and get out.

He was shot at by Travis who had moved from the left side of the road to in front of the truck with the shot gun aimed at Arbery.

The attack by Travis began long before he fired the first shot.

Travis started his attack on Arbery as soon as he existed the truck armed with a loaded shot gun and prevented him jogging on his intended path.

That does not make sense. The jogger would not have known where Travis would be by the time he passed the truck.

The evidence shows that Travis moved towards to the front of the truck and fired a shot at Arbery.

I think Roddy’s claim is self serving and dubious. I think he may yet be charged as an accessory. I might be wrong. Let’s see.

All he would need to know about Travis' position in relation to the truck for it to make perfect sense is that Travis had gotten out of the left driver's door and was on that side of the truck.

If he'd decided to use the truck as an obstacle to run around and then do an unexpected burst / lunge toward Travis, he'd obviously go around the right side of the truck and then attack Travis wherever he was by that time.

Well, so far Roddy is not charged as an accessory and his video contradicts the claims by Greg. We have no evidence of a chase but evidence that the McMichaels ambushed, attacked and killed an UNIDENTIFIED black man running on the street.

Remember in the Police report from Greg McMichael the identity of the jogger was not known.

So, he was "going for the shotgun". Not stopping or continuing on his business or running away. He was, shall we say, turning toward Travis? That's what I said and am arguing about. Saying that he was "going for the shotgun" is a rather more extreme version of that. But I would find it difficult that he was going for the shotgun yet somehow not turning toward Travis.

(Yes, I know this isn't what you are saying, but I have to address the issues related to this series of posts even tough I think you are brining up different issues.)

K, it’s 2:38am and suddenly your security camera sends you an alert. You view the feed and in your back yard is either:

A.) 2 12 year old white boys, or
B.) One 25 year old athletic black male with a big poofed up Afro-ish haircut, no shirt on

Your level of concern is identical in these two scenarios?

If your assertion is that only racists would feel any higher level of concern for option B, then I hate to break it to you but 99.95% of humanity is racist then, including blacks.
