The interview happened fairly recently and its always funny when this guy comes on AJ's show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdW5q7j4ID4&feature=related

One: I think it's hilarious how Rogan just humors/mocks Jones the entire time.

Two: I'm using this as another counter-thread to the "Willie Nelson Hypothesis" put forward a while back. Never blame the pot, ever.

Also, Does being stoned make you more likely to believe CT's or does it just make you too lazy to fact check bogus claims?

Did i miss something here?? Please correct me if im wrong.

around 4:30 joe rogan is saying in reference to glenn beck- no real news guy does a live show-

dosent alex jones -the supposed real news guy- do live shows??

I hate screwing up a threads title. Can a mod fix it to R-O-G-A-N for me please? If not that's cool, its just annoying me.

I understand what your saying

My point is if Jones does the same thing wouldnt it equally destroy his credibility??

Yes, it does. The clip was also to make a point that AJ's show is a circus compared to the mild mannered Glen Beck Show. No screaming at the listeners/watchers, no teenagers harassing girls in wheelchairs, no bringing up child molestation by government officials at Bohemian Grove every ten minutes, and somehow GBeck isn't "real" news......hmmmmm.

This video is full of Rogan being sarcastic with Jones (I've got documents, lol!) and I think its funny how on the last part he talks about what a funny guy Alex Jones is. Even this guys "friends" don't take him seriously.

Joe Rogan is a smart dude. I have spent some time on his forum and I noticed he is one to bring up Conspiracy theories often but that doesn't mean he believes in them. It is more of a social expiration for him. He likes to see people debate the subject.

Joe is Alex's friend (not sure why) but it is obvious Joe doesn't believe 99% of what this guy says.

Usually, Joe talkes about drugs while Alex tries to slip in NWO any chance he gets. Kinda funny.

Yeah, he seems like a pretty cool guy from what I've seen. He is also cool with a bunch of cops and firemen. It makes me wonder if he's seen the videos of AJ saying the NYPD/FDNY are holding back the truth about 9/11.

Two things...

One: Joe has either had a couple of drinks or is high, because Joe is usually a more alert kinda guy. It is no secret that Joe likes to get high from time to time.

Two: I don't know enough about Jones to really be sure, but doesn't he discourage people from watching too much TV because it Brainwashes you? Why would you let someone pimp TV programs on a show that discourages people from watching TV?

Now shouldn't you have one of those superscripted "TM"s when you reference the Willie Nelson Hypothesis. :D In my defense though, I don't think I ever argued a causation, merely a correlation.

Yeah, my bad, Jables.:o

I don't know how to do that TM sign or I woulda. I figured anyone who frequents the forum would know what I was talkin bout. LOL, I honestly couldn't remember if it was you, or Pat, who named it.

Hey, causation, correlation, both words I can't readily define, but what I do know is that I'm not ready to blame the hooter just yet.

Joe Rogan has done more drugs than an army of Keith Richards and Artie Langes.

His brain just doesn't function quite right anymore. This can be observed by listening to anything coming out of his mouth.

Well, hell. I guess I should be glad I'm not in the public eye.

Well, it's just my opinion!

As for a source on the drug use, well, he openly admits he uses all sorts of controlled substances.

But I really just wanted an Ad Hom attack on Joe Rogan. I personally find him despicable. You can quote me on that as a source. :)

I agree. There are a handful of traits shared by truthers - young, white, male, etc - and I would argue that marijuana use is also disproportional to the general population. (Our newest CT member on the forum mentioned his marijuana use within 20 posts).

I think pot is just more popular than you're giving it credit for, hehehe:D

That's always a possibility. I can only base my knowledge of marijuana use among a very small cross-section of the population - mainly those that I interact with.

However, I will say that whether or not marijuana use is greater in the Truther population than in the general population, Truthers definately seem to be more proud of their marijuana use, mentioning it fairly frequently.

That is a post from 2000, Joe has been on AJ's show many times. I think this is from one of the first times he hung out with him.

I like Joe a lot, I think he is a good comedian and commentator on UFC. He was also in one of my favorite TV shows, Newsradio. He does believe a lot of conspiracy theory BS like moon landing hoax and JFK assassination CTs.

I still think he is a reasonable guy and would not be ashamed to admit he was wrong if he studied these subjects a little more deeper. However, he is the type who thinks conspiracy theories and aliens are interesting subjects, and so do I, the difference is that I don't believe the lies just because they are also compelling.

Sure, he is an idealogue but I don't think he is at all synonymous with the regulars we are use to on this board.
