JESUS....my Friend.

I had this guy once tell me he wanted to be my friend. I asked him what would happen if I said no. He explained that if I didn't become his friend he was going to put me into a lake of molten lava and stick things up my butt. I asked for how long and he said forever.


I don't want to even be in the same world as this "friend". Fortunately I am not.
 
Ah, Christianity - for a dollar a week you can listen to long, boring, passionate speeches about fairy tales, sing a few songs, and get together with your adult friends to play make-believe.

As I wrote I am not pretending to debate in his existence or in yours beleifs.

I realize you aren't debating about the existence of jebus, you simply want to assert that this character actually existed. You won't debate it because you know there is no evidence to support your position.

LOL. Jesus is as much a part of the universe as Mickey Mouse is, they are fictional characters. And reading the fiction of the bible, I really don't understand why anyone would call Jebus a friend. Jebus preached to hate everyone but him, Jebus preached to hate the Jewish people, Jebus was racist and obviously not an animal rights advocate. You picked a strange mythical hero to admire.

In your assumption Jesus is alive, and is a GOD.
Is not my assumption. I don't have that kind of problem.

Well shoot I got plenty of friends like that! It doesn't mean I would loan them money.

Seriously S&S, humor is akin to divinity, if you can't laugh at your beliefs then they aren't very strong beliefs. I have also seen many posts that were serious and have brought down the level of discussion. Maybe a dscussion of sex with Jesus is not a direct answer to your question but it is an answer.

I think some could have been easier on S&S.
There´s some unnecessary roughness imo.
 
Maybe "he" just saw DC real "preferences".

Give S&S break, I also have conversations with jesus especially on a saturday night after a few glasses of malt whisky with just a dash of water added. I find the more you drink the the better the conversation usually by the end of the night jesus is sitting beside me talking his head off.

p.s.....................I blame the water

I must say, I have always had a huge crush on the Dalai Lama. The man just oozes happiness. (Buddhist monks affect me the same way.)

Mr. Rogers is someone I would consider such a friend, too. I didn't know him when I was little. We didn't get Mr Rogers in the Zone. But I watched him when my children were babies.
