I've seen those explanations. They do not, under any sane circumstances whatever, hang together logically. Or even illogically. It is just a child-like fantasy that things work like in self-created unicorn-rainbow-fart fairy stories. There really is a door to Narnia at the back of the cupboard (or wherever).

Are we sure she's a flat-earther? She just said she sees globes and they are used to brainwash people. Maybe she has uncovered globegate.

And shouldn't some of these people actually be brainwashed? They seem to have a lot of crap in their brains.
 
I'd like to hear a flat earther explanation about why you see the sunlight on the tip of a mountain/tall building first at sunrise and last at sunset.

If the globular Earth is a vast conspiracy of all scientists, historians and a brainwashed population, would you trust your mother? Buy her a bus ticket to a city a few thousand miles away, phone her at noon and ask her where the sun is in the sky where she is. Would she lie to you? :boggled:

Isn't it because globes show that the US is not 100X larger than all other countries?
And shows other countries exist when they should not?

Globes, and indeed maps and atlases, show that other countries exist, full stop. Places she has never heard of, like Canada and Mexico. And Africa and Asia and Australia, and more besides. And so many oceans! Why, there's a whole imaginary world that she never knew existed!

The former is because the Illuminati/shape-shifting alien reptiles/Girl Scouts of America maintain constant patrols around the Antarctic ice wall, sinking anyone who gets too close, harpooning the survivors and feeding them to their ferocious, GMO guard penguins.

The latter is because of the crystal dome, duh.
