Merged Jesse Ventura to host new conspiracy theory TV show

That this ****ing moron ever held a position in government is scary. I hope the show tanks and he has to fight no name wrestlers for lunch money.

Again, he was fantastic on RAW a few weeks back. He'd make monster money if he ever went back to wrestling, as he's one of the best commentators they ever had.

A few years back Yahoo!Sports' Dave Meltzer wrote a great commentary about how pro wrestlers and the diehard fans are more likely to believe in conspiracy theories because they immerse in a world where everything is scripted behind the scenes and convince themselves everything works that way. That's why Jesse is so perfect for the WWE, he looks at it no differently than he looks at everything else, so it's as "real" to him as anything.

I almost wanted to see an altercation cause I have a feeling Kenny would have knocked Venturas block off defending Jimmy.

Ha, I thought the same thing. Kenny vs. Jesse at Wrestlemania would've led to some of the greatest promos the business had ever seen. :newlol

Did Jesse do his research on HAARP by watching that GI Joe web series from last year?

Wrestling is completely fake, but obviously you do get dropped on your head every now and then.

So, a little extra reading and I discovered that HAARP will actually provide tours and has open house events.

So Jesse didn't need to threaten the poor pudgy middle aged guy in jeans and button down (is that how the security at top secret facilities dress?).

I have not seen last night's show, but apparently Jesse is now raving about solar flare will cause disaster in 2012. Maybe he is trying to get a role in the next Roland Emmerich Movie?

Missed the show, and I can't link to youtube from where I am now, but apparently Jesse is taking the "Solar Flare Will Cause A Castatrophe in 2012" crap from the Emmerich POS 2012 movie seriously.

here is the url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk1UDbuoyiA
If true, then Ventura's insanity has reached new levels. Or maybe he is just pitching for a role in the next ROland Emmrich film.....

The blow-up with Norton is all over CNN and TMZ. Jesse's just making sure he doesn't stop giving people a reason to talk about him now that they've started. It's no different than Hulk Hogan's fake press conference attack getting covered as real and then proposing to the chick who looks exactly like his daughter a few days later.

Vince has taught them well. :)

You might be right, Drudge. It is interesting that of all the crap science out there, Ventura chose the dumbutt theory that Emmerich uses as the cause of the End Of The World in "2012" to push.......

I first heard about this man (allthough I know recognize him) this week. I crawled to the toilette and subjected myself to some water-boarding, 'cause I had to experience a trauma to displace the one I recieved from watching Ventura's pretentious blabbering, mawing on like an evil comic-book villain.

The conspiracy nuts are orgasmic about this show, look at the ATS thread on it:

Jesse already being hailed as a true patriot and a role model for the twoof!

Frankly, I'm sort of glad he got the show. I know on the one hand that shows like this will lure the stupid and gullible into believing in CT, but I think it will drive away more people than it converts. After all, it doesn't take anymore than an ounce of skepticism to see through this stuff for the fear mongering and paranoia that it is.

I find it hilarious they tried to act all melodramatic by landing a helicopter in front of HAARP and then blurring out the face of the slightly overweight guy in jeans telling them that they can't go inside. Yeah, because those are the type of people the gubment uses to hide secret weapons. How interesting that he did so much research on this conspiracy theory but forgot to show up during a open house tour ;) But I guess getting in and going on the tour isn't as sexy for conspiracy theorists as acting like its some top-secret gubment doomsday weapon.

Also, does anyone else note that Jesse teams of crack researchers present "findings" that just so HAPPEN to be the same conclusions one finds when you google HAARP? And when they start talking to the people who actually do research there, its completely benign.

The Governor and his "researchers" think its so strange that not many people will talk about HAARP - perhaps because they are so tried of the conspiracy loons? MAYBE? And when they finally find the village gossiper, she suspects a conspiracy..of course...

Ventura for Prez in 2012! The Mind boggles....

I know it's his nickname now, but:

...with "The Minds" in quotation marks is funny on so many levels. :newlol

When exactly did this chunk of meat formerly known as "The Body" get named "The Mind"? It's a jest surely?

The more you watch this the more hysterical it gets:

So many times the CT woos he talks to say "many scientists have found" and "many scientists say" but of course not 1 peer reviewed study or anyone with actual scientific credentials have been offered...

If you are talking about the Solar Flares/2012 stuff, I think Ventura's main scientific source was Roland Emmerich.

But that meeting of Minds website was something else. The worst aspects of Woo Tinfoiler CT crap combines with the worst aspects of mindless Internet Fanboy Hero Worship to creat a perfect storm of stupidity.

Yes it is the same emo memo that Alex Jones and his ilk uses. Jones even claimed three MD's had checked his Bohemian Grove footage and told him that they were indeed sacrificing a real child. Of course, Jones only told us that and couldn't reveal the doctors names or places of work for security reasons. Since then, he hasn't even bothered to make much ado about it to my knowledge.

Now, if you honestly believed people were killing children at a given location, and had back-up from three medical doctors, would you just up and let it go for chatting and laughing with Charlie Sheen? He knows he's lying, to a point where he almost believes his own press.

That is very true, but I think it is more than that. Did he ever play football without a helmet?

(OT)

What the hell is TruTV?
WooTV.
Imagine if TV channels changed their names to more accurately reflect their programming or focus.

TLC ⇒ the Babies and Midgets Channel
History ⇒ Revising History
Discovery ⇒ the Blow @#$% Up channel
FOX News ⇒ The RNC Network
MTV ⇒ Not Quite Reality TV
