Jeremy Corbyn might actually win?

The Labour party IT systems in place to encourage and track voters leave a lot to be desired:(

Two candidates didn't even email me when I registered to vote. The candidate X I did vote for sent me an email enquiring how I'd voted, with a link that said "I voted for X". This took me to a new page asking for my email addy (which they already had, as it was answering their email that got me this far) and some check-boxes asking me who I'd voted for. Duh.

Must do better!

Well, he described it as a 'tragedy' that Bin Laden was assassinated rather than put on trial. Now I could accept him wanting Bin Laden to face justice rather than be killed outright, but a tragedy? That says to me he feels a lot more strongly about Bin Laden's death than would come about through reaction to a simple denial of justice.
Does it say that to you? What does this say to you?

Former pupils at Chetham’s school of music who say they were sexually abused by a “svengali-like” violin teacher have expressed anger at his decision to shoot himself before he was to be extradited to the UK to face trial.

One of his former pupils said that the apparent suicide of Chris Ling at his Los Angeles home on Tuesday, which came as US marshals arrived to arrest him, amounted to his “final abuse of power”, while a second said they were disappointed that he did not face justice in a courtroom.

It says to me that I didn't know that corbyn had been a music teacher!

Come come, now. You can do better than that. He must have wanted Bin Laden to be rewarded for striving to liberate the world from US imperialism. So he'd want him to be acquitted and receive compensation. :D

I'm not sure Corbyn was ever fiddled by Bin Laden but I'm sure if the two had met, he'd have kissed his ass.

I see. Well, you've caught the flavour of the right-wing Labour culture, with its paedo-enabling stuff. But I don't think even the rightists are quite ready for the Bin Laden's ass material yet.

But who knows? Drop Blair a line.

Well, maybe his beardy lips would have come up short of the be-robed ass, but I'm sure he would have been referred to as his friend.

An extreme left winger having bad judgment isn't a bug, it's a feature.

Thanks for providing a perfect example of what I've said so far.

A page from the Torygraph.

Oh, I forgot that the only source the far leftists will accept is the Socialist Worker. Everyone else is part of the Big Tory Conspiracy... woooooooo!:jaw-dropp

Are those who are not ardent Conservatives (the position of the Telegraph) necessarily far leftists? Or do you equate 'far leftists' with 'leftists'? Or indeed equate 'far leftists' with those who disagree with the position of the Telegraph?

You find them a site with substance-free criticism of Corbyn that he's not left enough, but it doesn't have enough likes. There's just no pleasing some people.

I'm sure there's substance free criticism and substance free support for every politician alive today in some corner of the internet. I can use the comment sections of youtube to support any general statement regarding the quality of opinion regarding any public person.

Nice try, but the point remains that the Torygraph article paints him as a terrorist's friend on the basis of him not being a puppet who is told who the bad guys are.

Having sympathy for people being destroyed by Netanyahu and his minions and armies is no sin in my book, and last time I checked Gerry Adams was still one of the main architects of the NI peace process.

There's more to the definition than that, but I'd say a good indicator is someone who dismisses an article without evidence simply because it's written in a certain newspaper. I would say the same if someone dismissed an article purely because it appeared in the Guardian, it would indicate they have rightist views.

It was Corbyn himself who referred to terrorists as his friends, not the Telegraph.

I guess that excuse can be rolled out to disguise all sorts of anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas views - oh, hello Mr Galloway, I didn't see you there.

"My friends are terrorists"? What an odd thing to say!

I don't think you really mean that. People oppressed by Bibi are automatically terrorists? Or that Members of the NI executive are terrorists? But it's pretty good ultra right rhetoric. Is Galloway a terrorist now too?

I have lots of objections to Gorgeous George, but a terrorist?

Maybe he's a paedophile enabler as well.

I don't know whose posts you're reading but that person is clearly not me. Corbyn saying, "My friends are terrorists"? Galloway a terrorist? Where do you get this stuff from?
