Unless they are referring to Jenny as a "has been", which I suppose would be true.
 
Well, apparently "age of autism" doesn't think so. And they have some rather immature input on this whole thing. "Beat" by a girl? Who is running that group?

I was looking for a thread to add this comment to though it's a bit tangental.

This morning on "Newsweek on air" they did two segments in sequence. The first was in interview with a doctor debunking Autism myths and the anti-vax hysteria. The second was on the science of superstition and gave a bit of a nod and chiding to skeptics.

Unfortunately this aired after a public affairs program on the same radio station featuring Dr. Todd Ellsner of Arlington, TX who made the typical anti-vax claims. His phone number is 817-930-0600.

If anyone with broadband can provide links to either of these shows thanks, otherwise I'll try and do so late Tues. night.
 
Thanks for the link! Personally, I'm suspending any judgment until I hear Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Hannah Montana weigh in.
 
You know the embarrassing thing? When I heard that Jenny McCarthy had an autistic child and was starting to get involved in an activist sort of way - before it was clear which sort of way she was going to take - I remember thinking "Oh, that's good! Now no one can accuse her of just being a vapid celebrity, she can do something important".

D'oh...
 
Maybe Jenny M. and Michael Savage DO have something in common after all...

There's a Dr. Todd Elsner, who is a Chiropractor in Arlington, which leads me to believe he's your guy. But his web site doesn't seem to work so I haven't found anything about a radio show.

But vaccines cause autism, and there are no adults with autism. So his thing is, uh, ummmm... well it's not autism, cuz vaccines cause autism and adults don't have it, so it's impossible that he has autism. Man, the stupid hurts when I try to explain it. A chiropractor? Shocking! I wish I could have played the show for you guys. The crap he was spewing out vaccines and polio was priceless.

Priceless, but typical of many chiropractors. Have you look at Ted Koren's stuff?

Denial of microbes, denial of shaken baby syndrome, denial denial denial. Sighs.
