January Stundie Nominations

My, Patrick1000 is outdoing himself: Same moonbat conspiracy theory, same general topic, but even more highly distilled essence of wrong.

Glad I checked first, I was about to nominate that mindboggling stupidity myself.

Like I said, there is a lot to it and there really is NO mathematical model yet for bikes.

I realize that a quarter of a second is a lot more time than Patrick1000/fattydash/DoctorTea/etc. puts into thinking about any of his claims, but still.

It would be so much easier dealing with him if I could believe that but I have the horrible feeling he really is as deluded as he seems.
P1000(TM) has got to related to those whackjobs that assert that Big Oil has suppressed knowledge about perpetual motion machines that always seem to find me at Lakeland or Oshkosh every year...

He recently claimed to be a peer-reviewer of technical articles on bicycles, so perhaps he has reviewed some of the above?

Patrick1000/fattydash/DoctorTea/etc. doubles down:
[ETA: bolding mine]

This is utter nonsense. Your bike is much more sophisticated than the lunar landing module? Really?

You have no idea what you are talking about, if you really believe that. Go back to Berkeley and Vanderbilt if you believe that, because you've learned very little.
Berkeley, Vanderbilt?.....I went to Beijing University and the Sorbonne.

Went to U.C. Berkeley, double major; Mathematics/Biochemistry, studied maths at Cambridge and received doctorate(applications of Galois to epidemiological stats). Returned to the states and ultimately went to medical school.

(BTW, I know why AdMan referred to Vanderbilt. For you non-U.S. types, Vanderbilt is in Tennessee, which last time I checked is part of "the states".)

Well, maybe keeping track of which school one went to, or even on which continent you went to school, is too much to remember. Let's try for something easier, like one's name:

And quit callin' me Pat, the name is Peter, as in Peter Peter pumpkin eater......

...To allay any anxieties here. My name is indeed Patrick. ... I, Patrick, do promise to be the only person posting here under the user name Patrick1000.

Hope that was helpful sts.

It was helpful in the sense that it shows another example of Patrick1000/fattydash/DoctorTea/etc.'s inability to tell the truth, or even tell consistent lies, but that's only incrementally helpful; it's like dropping rock #300 off a cliff and observing that it fell down just like rocks #1 through #299.

I promise you all that I will get the Finals up as soon as I'm done recovering my health.

'Bradly Manning was framed I tell ya!"

If death was a predictable consequence of that data being leaked, someone screwed up pretty badly by not classifying it more highly, hmm? It's almost as if they knew it wasn't actually important, and the story that "death was a predictable consequence" was made up after the fact to make Manning look bad.

Also in that thread he says he's not a doctor while saying he is in the Apollo thread. I suggest Patrick1000 simply be nominated for his entire posting history, picking out individual examples just crowds out everyone else in the stundies.

Problem is, none of this is particularly stupid, or even funny. He's clearly just lying, and saying anything he has to to score points in some bizarre game of his own devising. Borrrrring.

While I suggest zie be disqualified altogether as a singularly inept troll.
