This came in at the end of April, 2004. Amazing.

============================================
In an effort to prove that homeopathy works, I will provide the following test procedure:

1- Use hashish, an essential oil extract from cannabis sativa, that will be smoked to cause the eyes to become red.

2- Use similisan homeopathy eye drops with printed receipt of purchase.

3- Prove that the similisan homeopathy eye drops have not been tampered with by showing that the tamper proof seal and cap have not been open and will open the tamper evident seal and cap, as instructed in the directions for use, in front of the JREF representative or James Randi.

4- Use similisan homeopathy eye drops in one eye and regular water in the other eye.

What will constitute a positivie result will be if the eye with the similisan eye drops clear up andf is not red anymore and the eye with regular water stays red. What will constitute a negative result is if ...a) the eye with the similisan homeopathy eye drops don't clear up and the eye with the regular water does clear up, or...b) both eyes clear up, or c) both eyes don't clear up.

The testing procedure will be done in the applicant's place of residence. The time of the testing procedure will be done in agreement to the JREF representative.

============================================

Well, I notified Jamil that JREF declines to test claims that involve illegal substances, and that we considered hashish to be most definitely one of those illegal substances.

He soon got back to me with a revised protocol in which tobacco had been substituted for the hashish, but shortly thereafter, he vanished. Whatever he's smoking, it's time for him to quit.

I have not heard back from Mr. Henderson since late August.
