Am slightly worried about the ramifications of the show "Psychic Hollywood: Search for the Truth". There's already a plethora of information available about celebrities, any psychic can read the celeb's wikipedia page before the show and make it look like they know super secret information. It's the epitome of hot reading.

"I bought them today," she said. "I just thought ... why not? I might as well treat myself." Then she took one off and gave it to me.

"This is your birthday present. If I die, you can have the other one, too," she joked, but I saw a hint of sadness behind her sweet smile.​

Even if it wasn't in her book, how hard would be to guess that she might be wearing jewelry given to her by Farrah? Stewart would have probably unconsciously touched the bracelet while talking about her friend. So it probably didn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure it out.

Exactly. Giving a woman a piece of jewelry is hardly a revolutionary idea. Besides, if he had been wrong it would have just ended up on the cutting room floor like the rest of his misses.

I just watched these. I remember the Barbara Walters one. That man makes my skin crawl. Not only have I see his cold reading easily on other shows, but his simpering manner makes me cringe. And nothing is ever his fault if something goes wrong, it's the skeptics or people "misunderstanding the nature of his work." No, we understand it *quite* well.
