The liberal bias here is there is a big story in this depravity that is not being reported.

Could be, considering that similar acts of depravity in similar contexts often get reported on widely. Or rather, used to. There isn't quite so much of it being reported nowadays unless people die in the process, or it's particularly unusual for some reason. A lot of it just goes unremarked in general. So maybe it's not so much liberal bias, as it is just not being news anymore, since it's pretty well understood and accepted that it happens; and no one gets hurt -- unlike Mardi Gras, Spring Break, etc.

Gay Pride marches/rallies aren't generally synonymous with rape and manslaughter committed by the participants (only by those outside the event); and a bunch of ugly fat guys in leather jerking off aren't quite the threat to society that a bunch of rioting ganstas raping and killing people certainly are (Mardi Gras in Seattle isn't likely to recover from that one for a while).
